Seee note on ice maker stopped working, blinking red light

My GE side by side refirgerator's ice maker just stopped working. There is a blinking red light near the on/off switch of the ice maker. Ideas?

Ice maker stuck
Switch the ice maker off then back on should reset it . It is possible that the 'ice mould heater' is not working so the ice cubes don't realease from the mould , jamming the motor. Replacement ice maker is usually the solution
