What does E1error code on a kerr energy star heat pump mean and how do i fix this problem

Turn power completely off at the breaker then turn itback on,if it is still flashing then you didn't read the flashes right,read how many flashes there are after it pauses,until it posses again,then take that number of flashes and look at the code witch is in the furnace door

There are some thermal sensor in the inside unit and out door unit which is used to measure the Coolling and compressor heat. If any one of the sensor is faculty then that error message will appear.

Burner should be your second stage hest so should be connected to W2. So first stage would be heat pump.

Energy Star is a label that means nothing to you.

Before the Spin Cycle should start, all water must be drained out of the machine. If it does not start, it could likely mean the Drain pump may be clogged. Please follow my below tip on the fix:

ACCESS, DRAIN & CLEAN THE DRAIN PUMP FILTER...

If this does not help, the drain pump may be faulty.
