If you have connected your phone to the computer there are chances of virus attack..try resetting your phone to factory settings and also clean the memory card from viruses using an original anti virus software.

Check that your digital camera is not in playback or review mode. Make sure the memory card is in the camera and that the card is properly formatted. The Memory Card may be full. Download the images to the computer or delete some to make way for new photos. Check the charge on the batteries. Replace if necessary. Have you been using the flash? It may be recharging. When it is recharged, the camera will be ready to take photos again.
The protect function allows a user to protect a picture from accidental deletion. To unprotect a picture on your camera, scroll to the protected picture that you want to delete, then press the Menu button (the button to the right of the Play button.) Scroll down the menu and you should come to an option that allows you to Protect/Unprotect the picture. Since your picture is currently protected, deselect that option. You should then be able to delete the picture normally.
Alternatively, you could also format the memory card, however this deletes ALL photos and data you have on the memory card. If you are trying to completely clear the memory, this is the best way. After turning on your camera, simply press the Menu button, scroll to Setup, then scroll down to Format. Select Format, it will ask you if you want to format the memory card, or the camera's built-in memory. Format whichever one you want to clear, if you are using a memory card then your pictures are stored on the memory card. It will take a few seconds to format.
1. From the Home screen, press and hold the Camera Key on the right side of the phone. Tip: The Camera always opens in landscape mode. While taking pictures, use the external command keys, or the QWERTY command keys.
2. Set Options, if desired.
3. Using the display screen as a viewfinder, compose your picture by aiming the lens at your subject.
4. Press the Camera Key or the Center Select Key TAKE to take the picture. Tip: Open the phone immediately after taking a photo to resize the photo and create a new picture message with the new photo attached.
5. After taking a photo, use the soft keys for these options: • Press the Right Soft Key Erase to delete the new photo. • Press the Center Select Key SEND to resize the new photo and attach it to a new picture message. • Press the Left Soft Key Save to save the picture to My Pictures.
Hi, Ladylyns.
Just press the "Menu" button, and select an icon that looks like a little camera, press the "OK" button. Now you are on photo mode, and you just need to press the Shutter to take your pictures. Enjoy your camera.
The flash has been working fine until last night when I tried to take a picture and the flash was set to auto. When I press the button the little red light beside the flash sign lights up, but the camera does not take the photo. When I set it to flash mode, it still won't take a photo. When I turn off the flash, then it does. What could be the problem? Is it in the settings?
I gave the lense part of the camara a moderate slap, and the camara has worked fine since. looks like a lot of people have the same problem. Most of the people call it black screen problem. the shutter gets stuck. Tap it a few times on the side of the lense part of the camara moving it from bright to dark objects back and forth.
good luck.
In what mode are you trying to take photos? The flash will not work in certain modes (see the manual), for example the night mode. Or you accidentialy turned on sequential/burst mode (this is mode where camera takes more pictures on one shutter button press). Flash cannot be used in this mode also.
I don't have FX01, but on FZ8 the camera will show flash icon in red, but will take the picture anyway without flash being triggered.
The second problems seems like enabled power-saving mode, but those 5 seconds are too short for this. But anyway you can check in SETUP menu the settings for power-save.
Also maybe the flash is broken and camera noticed it... I don't think this could be a software problem. Either problem with the flash, but more probably just setting of wrong mode.
anyone else had this? or know what to do.
whatever best you can do is to take the camera to a good repairer as you can't fix the problem by yourself. there may be two possible reasons for the problem. 1) bad image sensor i.e. damaged CCD or 2)shutter blade are not working. the shutter blades may be jammed due to friction are no signal.
