I initially mounted my Westinghouse model LD4255VXTV to the wall but I recently took it off and cannot find the six screws to attach it to the base. what are the sizes and where can I get them. Thanks.
SOURCE: Wall mounting
According to the manufacturer (and numerous websites selling this TV) there is no provision to mount this TV by normal industry standards. It should state clearly on the box or manual what the mounting standard is if it is mountable, and in this case its not. Sorry.
SOURCE: removing base from tv
I researched this problem on the net and found the solution. Someone on one of the posts said the base can be removed by taking out four screws - all from the back of the TV. One screw is the one closest to the power plug, the next screw is beside it, the remaining two screws are the corresponding screws on the opposite side of the base panel (still on the back of the TV). Once these screws are removed the base comes off including the mounting bolt and the rectangular shaped plastic panel. There are no electronics or any components inside the base panel, only the bolt and plastic base which are held on by the four aforementioned screws. It was very easy to remove!

Hello, the way to remove the two stands on this model is to remove the two speaker panels on the sides, you will have 6 screws to remove (three on each side) on the bottom by the feet, after you remove the screws the feet should come right off. Please rate my help if it was helpful.
