E3 is a generic 'Off Balance' code

If you receive an E3 Error code, your washer may be unbalanced. This could be caused by the washer being too tightly packed, or clothing not distributed evenly. This will usually occur during the spin cycle. Stop the spin cycle.

F8 is taking too long to fill. Check the filter screens on the rear hoses.

The F8 E1 or Lo FL error code means your washer is not detecting the correct amount of incoming water. If the washer has an F8 E1 error or LO FL error, the door may be locked, and the control may be unresponsive.

turn off the water and remove the hose at the rear of the machine. Inside you will find a small wire gauze strainer. This blocks with limescale and debris from the water mains, just enough to reduce water flow below the thresholds..

E1 F8 Whirlpool dishwasher If F8 E1 or LF (too long to fill) appears in display, it means the washer is taking too long to fill. It's possible the drain hose extends more than 4.5" (114 mm) into standpipe.
