Ballast replacement Glo aquarium light 2 x 54", mod A-3912
I found the external model of the ballast replacement but I need the internal ballast. This is a long, thin ballast about 1-3/8" x 14-1/4" by 1-1/4" high.

External aquarium pumps are very powerful pumps that pull water out of the aquarium as well as return filter water back to the aquarium. In addition, external pumps are used in order to run protein skimmers and different types of filters such as canister filters.
The self-ballasted
bulb doesn't require any ballast. They are very expensive lamps, get easily go
over the 100 dollars, and the downside is that these bulb are not efficient as
the regular mercury vapor lamps.
High Intensity
Discharge is just like the big lamps you see on the streets and in industrial
lighting. HID lamps require ballast which is an expensive material and can't be
found in every local hardware store. Furthermore, the HID consume lots of
electricity and can draw lot of power therefore their operation is also
expensive.
Yes. There are both internal and external
filters. External filters are normally
hung outside the aquarium or placed under it inside the aquarium stand. Some of these filtration systems include
power filters and canister filters.
EBay is always a great source for used goods. I've provided a link of a general search Iperformed regarding used aquarium lighting parts. If it doesn't help, I suggest contacting yourlocal pet supplier.http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=used+aquarium+lights&_sacat=See-All-Categories
Yes, they are fire hazards. Mine made a popping sound, then I smelled a rubbery smell, I quick unplugged it and tossed it.! see recall notice, mine was not even one of the model #'s but it was a "Discovery Kids" silver framed Marine one. see link
Hello
There are two possibilities for this fault with Sony Projection tVs. The first is with the lamp itself. The second one is with the lamp ballast baord. Replace the lamp ballast board first. Because, it there is any internal winding short in the inverter transformar of the ballast board this type of fault can occur. you have to replace the ballast baord along with the new lamp anyway. Therefore, replace the ballast board first. If this help you, there is no need ot replace the lamp. Picture of the ballast included here for you to compare.
If replacing the ballast dis not help you, change the lamp too. OK.
