yes you could download a better quality of the drivers


If your computer came with a motherboard disc the drivers could be on it

Click start control panel administrative tools computer management device manager scroll to display adapters + to expand you might see a yellow question exclamation mark ? mark ! or a red x right click select reinstall drivers


if you don't have a disk with the drivers you have to download them

also you might have to adjust/changethe settings on your display
click start control panel,display,desktop you can select a different desktop from the drop down list
or a browse button where you can select different pictures this may vary depending on your operating system

also settings you can change the settings for more or less pixels or from the drop down list pick the appropriate level of color range or troubleshoot also select advanced then general dpi normal size,larger size or custom settings
always click APPLY after making any changes

Ati 9600se problems

I suspect that you are using too small a power supply. The display card uses a lot of power, to achieve the display rates. Try a heavier duty power supply

Hi there, you may just need to download the latest display drivers for your radeon card... google radeon drivers and you should easily find them.

Only boot in safe mode with Vista

Recheck that you have the exact driver for that ati card including the correct driver for the operating system you are using. physically pull the card and confirm the model of ati card you have.
also consider installing just the driver and not the catylist program.
