Okay so I ran a diagnostic on my washer and received no error codes or fail codes however it will not stop giving me the error code oL when I run a load in the washer even if its empty. WHat else do I need to do to stop getting this error code? Please I need some suggestions. I have a Kenmore Elite Oasis 110.28042701
OL, usually means Over Loaded. It is an error code thrown up by the on board computer.. generally when TOO much wet weight is in the bowl.
This condition is could be caused by faulty solenoid or solenoids at the water inlet valve. Unplug the machine, turn off the water, and remove the supply hoses. Check the solenoids at the water inlet valve. They can be tested using a multimeter or ohmmeter and checking for continuity. A lack of continuity will indicate a faulty solenoid and the inlet valve assy will need to be replaced.
Try unplugging for 12 hrs before reconnecting
If the problem continues then the controller board is damaged and will need to be replaced.

Chia, this is not a good one, F2 is a keypad failure or interface mismatch. You can try a couple of things. 1. unplug the washer for a minute and see if the code returns. 2. Remove the consol to access the control board, three screws on the backside and the consol lifts up. On the right side you will see the main board. On the right side of the board, center harness will be the interface ribbon cable. Reseat it a couple of times. If this doesn't work, I believe you will have to replace the touchpad. Catriver.

OL error means the Motor Controller has sensed an Overload.
The oL code means the motor control board is struggling to power the motor up. If it recurs after removing some clothes - usually this means a new motor control.... or worse - a new bearing.
If it were a problem with the tub floating up, the unit would spin instead of nutate.
Bearing failure in this machine is very common.
I suspect the drive shaft and bearing are the problem. The bearing and shaft are part of the outer tub.
The new outer tub with bearing W10128830 cost approximately $197 dollars.
If you can get access to the shaft it may be an Emory cloth will help smooth things down so that you no longer get the OL code.
This is an ambitious do-it-yourself project... as most appliance repairmen don't understand how this machine operates.

If it is not the OL error you are experiencing - let me know which one it is.

The "oL" error code in the Cabrio and Bravo washers means the motor is sensing an overload ("oL") condition. While this could indicate a problem with the motor, it usually doesn't. Most of the time, you'll see this error code when one of two things is going on:
1) There's a piece of clothing stuck between the inner basket and outer tub.
2) The tub is not floating freely, usually because it's seized to the drive shaft by rust and crudus; FYI: this condition is almost always caused by using non-HE detergent in this washer. Also, be aware that, if this is the case, it can be very difficult to remove the basket from a badly corroded drive shaft, could even be a two-man job.
Here is a video to help you get into the machine.

Hi
Error OL means that the washer has sensed an overload (OL) condition. It can also be a false error code appearing due to faulty lid switch. Sometimes this error code appears when lid is not closed/opened properly. You can check the lid switch for any disconnections, if the connection to lid switch is fine then use a multimeter to check the continuity of the lid switch. If the lid switch is fine then there is a piece of clothing stuck between inner basket and the outer tub. Disconnect the washer from the power outlet and then try moving the drum with your hand and check if it turns freely or is offering any resistance. If it is not moving freely then it is due to rusted drive shaft or motor. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more assistance.
