Your backlight lamp, (Bulb), or the Inverter is bad.

1.General instructions, and photos, for replacement of a typical laptop backlight,
http://www.ccfldirect.com/lcdtutorial.html

2.Instructions for completely disassembling a Toshiba Satellite A135 laptop. The reason I included this is twofold.

A.It shows, and tells exactly, how to remove the LCD screen from your laptop.

B.It shows you that the following information in link 3, on how to replace an Inverter in a Satellite A105, will work for your Satellite A135.
http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/toshiba-satellite-a135/remove-mainboard-1.htm
(At the bottom of this page you will see Page1:: Page2:: Page 3:: Page 4
You are on Page 1. Just click on the white Page2, and so on, to continue)

3.How to replace an Inverter in a Satellite A105,
http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/Toshiba-Satellite-A105/remove-replace-LCD-screen-1.htm

FIRST! Always remove all power! AC adapter, (Charger), and battery.

Second! Observe anti-static guidelines!

Third! This ain't tough! It just looks hard. Once you see how simple this is, I'm sure you'll agree with me.

Blank screen

If you have access to an external monitor, try connecting it to the laptop. If you have video, then press and hold the Fn key and tap the F7 key. This toggles the video from LCD only to external monitor only to both in three taps. If you still have no video on the LCD but you do on the monitor, shine a bright light on the LCD display. you may see the video displayed. If so, then you have either a bad back-light or a bad LCD inverter in the laptop display. I would suggest replacing both to be on the safe side. A bad LCD can damage the inverter and a bad inverter can damage the LCD.

Replacing CCFL Tube

I've repaired 1000+ Toshiba and replacing the FL tube is something I would never attempt to do because of how hard they make it to do. Generally there is a FL Inverter below the LCD that goes bad which causes the backlight not to light up correctly. The actual FL tube rarely breaks and unless you know you dropped the laptop it probably isn't what is wrong. 95% of the time when the backlight isn't lit up it is the FL inverter board.

I need to replace the back light in my toshiba satllite A135 laptop. How do I do it?

You don't. The backlight is part of the LCD monitor, integrated. You will have to replace the entire LCD.

Laptop turns on, Screen stays blank

Sounds like one of two options, it's either a blown out back light or you have a graphics problem. If it's the back light, you should still hear windows boot up and no picture. Try one of two things. Either hook it up to a external monitor or try a flashlight and see if you can see any images when you shine it across the screen.

I installed 2 gb Of ram to my toshiba satellite a135-s4656 and

Check to make sure the screensaver settings are correct. Adding RAM to a PC won't change how the screensaver works, unless you also added some software that is not letting it sit idle long enough for the screensaver to come on.

Toshiba Satellite A135-S4527

While turned off..You could take out the CD/DVD drive, HD, all the memmory(1 or 2 modules) and If you know how, even BlueTooth and modem and WLAN mini PCI/PCIE modules. Then try to start it. If you hear 2 beeps followed by any other numbers of beeps(2_x_x)...then you can be rather glad that your motherbord (still maybe!) works ok. If you hear other kombinations of numbers of beeps(1_x_x, 3_x_x or 4_x_x) then you may have problem with the motherboard :( .. in case you hear the 2_x_x beeps you have a memory problem..shut down the laptop...now put only one of the memory modules(if you have 2) and boot up...if you get the picture you should be able to see any BIOS POST warnings/error messages..if you still hear the 2_x_x beep comb. you have a memory problem..then you should buy a new memory! if you dont see any picture on the screen it could be the Graphics card problem or yet another indication to memory problem...if you get sure that the memory and the motherboard are ok then put in the components back in and boot after each to figure out witch part is problematic...

Good luck!

Toshibba laptop a135-s2276 ,my mother bords smd chip does not work so display of screen does not appear

The problem is well known witht this model Toshiba - the problem is the fan stops working and then hence shuts down to prevent overheating - it does not take long once the laptop is hot. Without replacing the fan just reboot the laptop until you hear the fan start again on reboot.
