Other applications won't run says storage full

When you say "anything", do you mean photos, videos and such, or are you trying to move apps to the SD? Most smartphones and tablets use SD only for storage of video, music, and photo data. Apps can't be loaded there and a few will allow app data there, but only if the app writers allowed for it. Apps are getting larger, but tablet and phone internal memory storage has been slow to keep up. As a result, users are faced with the ever-increasing likelihood that they will run out of storage for their apps and then must either upgrade to a newer device with more memory, or sacrifice some older apps. Its too bad we can't delete the bloatware apps that the manufacturer installs that we never use.

1. Tap on Setting > iCloud > Storage. Then tap on Manage Storage.
2. And then tap on This iPad.
3. Under the Backup options, you will see Photo Library option, set the slider to OFF position.
4. Tap on Turn off & Delete to delete all photos and videos from iCloud.

After deleting existing photos and videos, you can either set the Photo Library back to ON position and start backing up new photos to iCloud or keep it OFF and use Photo Stream. You can store up to 1,000 images on Photo Stream for free and download them to your computer. These images will remain in Photo Stream for 30 days, after which they will be deleted.

I dont think the memory is expandable. but some people use the photo kit from apple and use it to store info on sd cards that connect to it. when I used it i did not care for it to much since it did not talk back and forth as i liked.

You can have them back by Photo recovery process as your photos has been erased so the process would be this only. Also check your SD OR memory card may be storage space it not there for new addons. You can either download photo, data files to a SD card, another device (computer) or simply delete unwanted data by using the file brower. Locate, the unwanted files in storage, camera, or certain apps folders, & delete files. Don't delete any file in system folder. Hope this helps. Regards Bob from OZ

make sure photo is first stored in "photos" on ipad, if its in an email or online site, sometimes you cant adjust, press photo for 3 secs first, save to camera roll, and then access photo from camera roll

You can add photos to your emails on an IPad. If you have your email complete, just touch your home button to leave mail. Your email will still be there. Now, go,to your photos. Find the photo you want to attach. Tap it. At the bottom left, it should say "Copy". Tap "Copy". Now, go back to your mail message. Tap the body of the message. A list of options should appear. Tap "Paste". The photo you copied should now be pasted in your email message. If you want to attach a PDF, save the PDF in you Library in your iBooks first. Tap that PDF in your Library and a window will pop up with options. Tap "email" and a new email will appear with the PDF already imbedded as an attachment.

If to have the iPad before the camera was added, you have the original iPad. If you synced the photos from your computer, you have to delete the photos by syncing with iTunes again, but you have to "uncheck" the albums or folders that you want to remove.
1.Connect the iPad to the computer and launch iTunes.
2.Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
3.Click on the Photos Tab on the right.
4.Uncheck all of the albums or folders that you want to delete from the iPad under the Sync Photos from heading.
5.If you want to delete all of the photos - uncheck the Sync Photos From heading
6.Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
