The feed dogs are not pushing the fabric forwards when sewing. If I tug the fabric gently, it will sew. What do I have to do?
Raise the feed dogs, a manual may be helpful if you don't have one.
Fix Machines here is a link to a manual you could purchase. Also, remove needle and clean out the groves of the feeddogs.

Remove extension table/accessory box by gentle pulling it away from machine. You are left with just the free arm. In the back of the free arm, lower left corner, you will fine the feed dog lever. Push the leaver to the right to lower the feed dog.Instructions for lowering and raising the feed dog are on page 48 of your owner's manual. Good luck!

It probably needs gears replaced or has a loose gear. Unfortunately you need to take it in to a repair shop. (I am assuming that you are not in button hole or have the stitch length set to zero).
good luck!

You probably have a bind in the feed dog mechanism. If you can remove the covers and manually force them down you will see the hinge points that need to be oiled.
Unplug first!
Good luck.

Pull out the removable table and you will see the drop down feed dogs switch lever behind the back of the machine. Move that lever to the left or right to have feed dogs go back to normal sewing mode OR for embroidery mode.

I had the same problem and had recently posted my own message, with no replies. Took it to a repair person and he fixed it at no cost - it was stuck in reverse because the mechanism(s) were all gunked up. Take off the accessory box on the machine and the bottom plate. move the mechanism so they move freely and take out any gunk you see. The feeder dogs should now move back & forth in addition to up & down, feeding the material properly
