Candy Grand O washing machine will not start on any cycle, the stop light and the 1200 spin speed light are flashing and the door remains unlocked. this machine has been giving a variety of problems for the last few months such as not spinning out properly or not appearing to finish the wash, particularly the 30 min wash cycle for a small wash.
I bet that you have not cleaned out pockets, coins, tissues etc are all good reasons to want to buy a new machine. Either the pump out pump and or filter have problems. I have had to remove coins from the impeller.
The stop light and the spin light flashing are acting as an error code. Have you tried to google what this means? here is a link to candy error codes for that machine...

check the pump clean out. sounds like something is jammed in the pump

"F21" is a Long Drain error code. This indicates that you have an obstruction in the drainage system. More than likely you probably have a clog in the drain pump. The following link explains:

Included is a follow-on link that explains how to check the drain pump to clean. You may also have to remove the inlet hose that runs from the bottom of the wash tub to the inlet side of the drain pump. Debris can commonly clog in this area as well causing the drain cycle to fail.

NOTE: If these preliminary measures do not correct your problem, you may have to replace the drain pump. It does not take much to damage the pump impeller or motor. Since the error code is generated if the drain cycle exceeds 8 minutes, if the pump is damaged and can't pump at the required volume, the error code will continue to appear until the pump is replaced.

The flashing lights means that an error had been detected.
The machine must be unplugged from main to check the drain hose and the drain pump.
The most common is that the drain pump is clogged with debris and must be unlocked.

you have blockage in you drain plug. to solve this problem you'll have to remove the lower front panel of your machine by removing the 3 (1/4") screws on the vary bottom of the machine. once the panel is removed you'll see a 1 1/2" white PVC drainage plug. turn the inner plug to the left in till open. (WARNING ALL THE WATER IN THE DRUM WILL DRAIN THOUGH THIS PLUG) remove debris likes socks or everything that's there replace the panel and your all set.

Washing machine stops at the spin cycle - light flashes. Have to drain water out manually. Happened last week and was then able to run an empty rinse cycle. Machine worked normally for another week. Same problem today but have had to drain water manually from the drum after trying an empty 90 wash and rinse cycle (both stopped on the Spin and flashed). Any ideas? Thanks. x
