Question about Philips 47PFL3603D LCD TV

Phillips 47PFL3603d-f7 blinks when turned on

I have a 47" Phillips and when I turn it on the screen blinks for a split second the Phillips logo then it goes black.. Any idea which card could be replaced to repair this? I hear the set power up and stays on until I turn it off.. However no picture or sound

it pops and sparks on the right hand side on the backside of the set

Common short the cover cap over the video & sound boards short out if you remove it the cap only (shield metal) it usually will fix this

The TV started smoking. Thought it might be dust. doesn't appear to be.

Your tv is burning part of it's electronics. Turn it off and unplug it. Either take it to a repair ship or replace it.

What size are the table top mounting bolts for a philips 47pfl3603d/f7 tv?

The size of the mounting bolds are M8x ...., where .... = 12mm inside the TV and xxx mm outside depending of the thickness of the bracket.

Yeah the picture tube is old.... if it's a lcd or led then u're having prob's with display Circuits... call a techie and he'll fix it

if the Tv have back light the problem is t-con if not the problem is inverter

Turns on to the set-up screen for a split-second and then turns off and won't turn back on. LED power indicator will blink 3 times.

Thats the error code for the Convergence needing repair. You can get the panasonic PT47WX49 Convergence repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com the kit has the components and the CD with repair instructions.
