SOURCE: when icemaker is filling water comes out door dispenser

I need the entire model # from the sticker inside the fridge section. My guess is this is the model that has a diode in the wiring harness that directs power to the valves and has gone bad letting power go to both valves. I would look and see if you also have water going into the icemaker when you press for water out of the dispenser. If there is no diode then the water valve is bad. I need the model # so I can look at a wiring diagram. You can look at the wiring to the water valve and see if it has a diode. It is black block and has two wires in one end and one out the other. If so the diode only can be bought and spliced in. Let me know so I can help.

SOURCE: Water keeps dripping after it dispenses water thru the door

When you push the button, the CLICK you hear when the water flows is the Water delivery solenoid opening to let water thru, then snapping shut when U R done. The Spring is weak (prob wrong type, size, strength at factory) or the valve seal is cracked, torn, hardened or crushed.

Since all this is inside the door, you will either have to take it apart to see/fix/replace.

Quick fix: turn down the water pressure coming in(?)

Call Mr. Handyman to fix.

If under warranty - they might fix this for you for free
If this is a factory defect, there might be a recall in place for repair/replacement parts

Googlee both - Make/Model + Dripping Valve + Recall
Good Luck!

SOURCE: Ice Cube maker in Frigidaire FRS23R4 refrigerator not wotking

The first thing to check is to see if there is any ice in the fill tube, where the water comes in, preventing any more water from coming in. If there is none then the water valve is bad, even though the water in the door works. Its a dual solenoid valve so if one goes bad they both have to be changed

How do i fix water leaking when using in door water dispenser

If your "leaking" is an occasional drip during the day or more often after using the water dispenser, then it most likely is the water valve. I had this problem, bought new valve (approx. $50), and replaced myself. No more drips!

Frigidaire frigerator GLRS267ZCW drips water from dispenser - how can I fix itundefined

Hello friend, thank you for your post!

I understand that water is dripping from your dispenser on your Frigidaire refrigerator. I would ensure that there is no ice blocking or getting stuck inside of the dispenser. If that checks out I would recommend having a professional come out to properly diagnose your appliance as it could be a potential issue within your dispenser or water line. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

Very slow drip from water dispenser. How do I fix

Good day,
A slow continues drip, but still dispenses O.K. is caused by the dual water valve on the bottom rear of the machine not closing completely.
Only fix is replacing the water valve assembly.
