My LCD screen was broken by security at the airport. How do I get it fixed? Bought the camera 5 days ago, have all the warranty info and all that jazz. My dog got ahold of my camera and bit the LCD screen. The camera seems to work fine otherwise, but there's no image at all. I'd like to replace the screen, but Google doesn't turn up any replacement parts. Does this model share the same screen with any other Nikon coolpix cameras? Is there a compatible part?
I have a Nikon l20 Coolpix camera that had a broken screen (I dropped it)so I purchased a new screen....went to the "HOW TO" and watched a videothat had very good instructions...honestly it took me longer to find the rightscrewdriver than it took to change the screen....and it works as before, amazing!Wonder if they have a "HOW TO" on heart transplants......I think not! LOL
