Brake lights are always on, Brake Pedal is loose.

There should be a switch on the brake pedal that controls the brake lights.
If the pedal is loose that should be fixed first.
Something must be worn out at the brake pedal pivot.
Hope this helps.

Accelerator cable loose at pedal and not pushing back to throttle body

The pedal should NOT PUSH that cable - it SHOULD be loose. The pedal should PULL that cable.

Brake lights not working all time could it be because loose pedal on xsara picasso

Definately a likely cause. The brake lights are controlled by a switch that is located next to the brake pedal. When you push the brake pedal, the switch moves and turns on the lights. If your brake pedal is loose or the switch is not aligned just right, it could cause your brake lights to fail intermittently.

Car moves and rolls while in drive. But the gas doesnt work. The pedal is loose and when u mash down there is no result

The throttle is operated by a cable from the pedal to the engine throttle. That cable is either broken or has come loose from the pedal or the engine throttle. Check the pedal first. If the pedal does not have any return spring and falls to the floor the cable is most likely the problem. If you are familiar with the engine components and can see the throttle and cable you could have someone try to operate the pedal without the engine running. If it has come loose from the throttle you should see it move. If not you and appears to be connected to both the throttle and pedal the cable is broken. You will have to have a new cable installed if it has broken. Good luck.

My new moongoose mischief keeps getting loose chain and pedals, ive tightend it up sevral times but keeps doing it, and the pedals keep loosening from the body??? anyone know how to solve this/

My first thought about the chain continuuin to become loose, is that you need to loosen the nuts on the back wheel, and pull the wheel (while the chain is still attached to bot hsprockets) in order to remove any slack. If it's a continuous issue, chances are that back tire keeps migrating forward because those nuts aren't tight enough.

To the pedal issue-If the pedals are wobbling or vibrating because the aren't snug while on the pedal bar (the bar that the pedals revolve around) it is probably because the peddals are too large. Try buying a new set of pedals. If they are loose and trying to slip off of the pedal bar and if you have tightened the nuts that keep the pedal on the pedal bar and they are continuing to become loose, it could be that you need to use locking nuts.

A quick fix to solving loose pedals is to add washers to the end of the bar until the washers are flush up against the pedal and the nut.

Happy pedaling!

The shaft is loose and the pedal no longer stays on the secondary shadt that attaches to the main one.

Without knowing what pedal system you have this is a difficult one, but nearly all pedals are held on to the secondary shaft with a nut. Lose that nut and the pedal will not stay together.

My guess based on your description is that you have either lost that nut or the nut is very, very loose, maybe even stripped.

Depending on the pedal system you have it may be less expensive and safer to just replace the pedal at your local bike shop

Right-hand pedal loose

I've had that happen with the exercise bikes that I have repaired My best suggestion is their any play after tightening the pedal if not remove the pedal an apply some blue loctite on the threads let it set up then put the pedal back. This should take care of it now if you want to get more radical then apply the red loctite, the only way to break the pedal loose is actually using a torch!!! good luck
