You probably knocked a wire loose for the oil pressure guage when you were changing the plugs. Check all connection and it should work.

1993 Ford Ranger extended cab pickup. Oil guage showed low oil pressure while on local sall road and then truck stopped running. No warning, sputtering, etc... Check Engine light can on at the same time....

this could be the distributor pole piece, you will probably have to have someone read the computer for ignition codes to solve it. if you are by an AAmco trans shop they will read the codes for free.

Why won't the oil and temperature gauge work on

you should switch the temperature sensor and oil pressure sensor you had on your first engine, because your new engine must come with the light indicator dashboard so the sensor of your new engine are not compatible with your gauges....lipak!...

My Oil Pressure gauge is working erratic, want to replace the sender, but where is it? V6 3.0 auto 2wd

It's on the right(passenger) rear corner. It has one wire connected to it. To verify that you have the correct sending unit, if you disconnect the wire and start the engine, the oil pressure gauge will either stay at 0 or will peg out.

Where is the power steering sensor located on a 1993 ford ranger 4.0 super cab? (or is it called the power steering pressure switch?)

The power steering pressure switch as its called threads in to the power steering pressure hose most of the time it is close to the power steering pump, I have also seen them at the lower point of the pressure hose close to the rack and pinion.
