The possible reasons and solutions for this..
1)Drain hose is kinked or house drain is restricted.
Straighten the drain hose to improve water flow to the drain.
2)
Standpipe is too high.
Standpipe must not exceed 96 inches in height.
3)
Drain hose has been taped (or sealed) into the standpipe.
Tape holding the hose in the standpipe should not form a complete seal. The standpipe needs air for proper draining. Remove some of the tape to make an air path.
4)
Drain hose fits too tightly in the standpipe.
There must be an air gap between the drain hose and the standpipe for proper draining. The standpipe needs to be at least 1 1/4 inches in diameter.
5)Also If too much of soap is used the washing machine drains slowly or will not drain at all..

Possibly a worn drive belt, or it needs tensioning.

Remove the back lower left access panel. You will find the drain pump there. 95% of these problems that you have described is from the drain pump bearing going out. If possible, run the washer with this panel opened and listen to the pump. If the noise you hear is coming from there replace the pump with the new designed pump. Here is the pump to order. To replace the pump, tilt the washer back and remove the belt, then remove the two hoses from the pump and then the three screws that hold the pump on. If the pump is not the problem, post back to me.

Hi, our washing machine started making very loud banging and whining noise in the final spin cycle and the machine was shaking. We have taken off the back. The springs look ok. any suggestions?

Loud banging is usually an unbalanced load. whining noise is some times debris trapped in drain pump causing it to squeal like a fan belt on a car. Strings, threads and hoses tend to get wrapped under agitator and cause noise, too.

Front load washer makes whining noise on spin cycle

Check to make sure that your machine is still level using a regular carpenters level. If it is not, You may be able to level it by screwing on the legs until it is level. But carefully and not too much at once.

Washer making noise in spin cycle

Is this unit new? I had a frigidaire that would really get to going on the spin cycle. Got the clothes really dry and sounded like a jet engine if no clothes were in it. Is it a whisling sound or screeching sound...The sound could be coming from the water pump. It may have something in it that is dragging. Some you can take the bottom off of and clean them out..

Whining noise, only in rinse and spin cycle, sounds awful.

Check the pump to make sure there isn't something stuck in it.
