What type of software are you looking for? I currently use picasa for mac which is free, it allows you to organise your photos and gives you some editing facilities. Hope this helps.

Hi, it looks like you have damaged the zoom mechanism that's why it will not zoom out . The unit will have to be repaired best to get a quote for repair first.

My camera is clean. I removed the Leica lens assembly & I can extend the lens manually. I used a stethescope on the servo. No power to the servo.

mostly it will be but get a quote from a camera repair shop
repairs are not an option until you get to the really expensive cameras

Turn power switch on and lens will not project out

These cameras have small motors and gears that can become jammed with dirt and dust. You can either try to assist it by pulling on the lens or you can slap the camera on the cover of a hard bound book and see if the lens moves. As it stands right now, it is not working so you have nothing to lose unless you want to send it in. www.unitedcamera.com is a site that gives online estimates for repairs.

Battery doesn't indicate charging on the DMC-SZ10

It could be one of the USB connectors in the camera is not connected anymore. You need 2 contacts to send over the pictures (data) and 2 contacts to charge the battery. I would not worry about that. Just charge the battery in the external charger. I't won't be worth the cost you have to make to repair this. It is not likely your USB cable is defect, because the same contacts are used for power in the charger. Still you could try another USB cable, because the one you use now, could just work in the charger and just not in the camera.

Remove the SD card before connecting the camera to the computer. With the card installed, the computer will only show the videos and photos on the card.

Lumix DMC-ZS19 system error focus

Here's a fix I got from Panasonic, I figured I would post this since I haven't seen this anywhere on the web and this post was the highest hit on google

Based on the information that you have provided, we suggest that you perform the following operation:
1. Turn off the camera 2. While off, turn the zoom button fully to the left or right (hold for about 3-5 secs) 3. Release then turn the camera back on... At this point in time the lens should retract. If it does not, repeat the previous steps however, press the zoom to the opposite direction than you did the first time around. If this does not resolve the issue, we recommend the product be sent to our Customer Service Center.

This seems to work for me. The lens retracted back in place and my camera resumed working.
