Defective LCD panel, not worth to repair.

Shouldn't have bought a Sanyo. It's not the same company it once was. It's toast.

The set uses two boards to drive the screen --one for each half or side.

Different names are used like sustain or in LCD sets inverter.

Their is most likely a problem with the pixels in your display. the reason why it dose this is that after the television warms up (about half and hour) the pixels adjust and start to work properly the only fix would be to replace the entire screen

Projection TV sets have several common problems listed below.

Problem #1) Convergence

Symptoms:

• Screen Looks 3-D
• Colors wont align
• Screen may look distorted
• No Audio/Video - makes a chirping sound.

it looks like the Inverter's gone in your screen, it works like a starter in a florescent tube, it 'kick starts' your screen to come on. Turning it on/off many times eventually 'kick starts' your screen and makes it come on eventually.

this is electronic advice,dont do with yourself if you dont have experince about electronics,it will be very dangerous...if you have experience then you do this...
you open the lcd and you remove the power supply chips, it contains more capacitors like 1200mF 16v..i think so..but check the voltage if it is correct in the volt meter,caused the sounds like power distortion..if the voltage is less the screen will be "trembling and shaking, its like very frequent water ripples. This problem though dissapears as you move more and more to the right, but its clearly visible to at least no the 1/3 of the screens horizontal length." check

Depending on the length of time the monitor has been used, this would often indicate a power supply problem, more specifically a low main B+. Since you are familiar with electronic components & circuitry, you might want to check the big filter capacitor right after the bridge diode on the hotside, likewise the capacitor after the single diode on the secondary side and or the capacitor along the + rail going to the FBT/HOT.
