Make sure lint filter is clean and vent pipe and outlet are not clogged.  If the clothes are getting warm then the element is working.

Can I just dry something

you must test if the dryer is o.k Otherwise you must call some tech, and fix it. The heater elements can be faulty or control board.

God bless you

WD 9900 does not dry

Most all dryers, including combo washer/dryers, have an electric wire coil for a heating element.
I suspect yours has given up ( they usually break in two, stopping the electrical flow). You should need to have the element replaced.
Going to need to take the whole machine apart to fix this.
Be blessed.

Whirlpool dryer will not heat

Gas or electric? If gas check for flame. If electric check the heater element. Go online and get a replacement. Doesn't really matter which watts you get. Should always run dryer on low setting and let the air do the work not the heat. Check the air vent and clean as necessary. You can save energy by doing loads and then adding wet clothes to dry clothes. Break up the wash load into managable sizes. Let me know.S

Splendide 2100 washer/dryer now fails to dry -

Remove the top - two screws in the back then slide forward
In the front right top you will see the air box and the terminals for the heater coil along with other wires and sensors. Start the washer on a dry cycle and check the voltage to the heater terminals. You will be looking for 120 AC. If voltage there but no heat the heating element is bad. If no voltage there follow the wires to the overheat switches and check the voltage on the other side of these switches (round devices with two terminals on top). If there is voltage there then the switch has tripped. Unplug the machine. Look for a spot of paint on this switch, scratch it away and you will see a small hole. Insert a strightened paper clip into this hole and push to reset the switch. Re-power and test the results.
No power to these switches probably means a bad circuit board $$$.

We bought a used motorhome with a Splendide 2100 w/d combo. It does not dry the clothes, but washes fine. There was no manual on this appliance, so don't know how to find out the problem. Can you help?...

Your heating element could be out. This could be just a bad element or if you don't hear the fan come in the the dry cycle, the fan probably failed and caused the element to burn out. If your clothes are getting warm but not drying completely then you need to check your exhaust hose and make sure it is not clogged with lint.

Kariba WD 802, need a part number for the Wash/Dry Selector Timer. The machince works properly when manually rotating the timer, it will not advance on it's own.

head over to repairclinic.com and enter your model # for a complete parts list.

Splendide 2100 vented washes clothes just fine but now when it goes into the dryer mode just roates the knob around without doing anything. This only happens in the dry mode.

This means that the washer has found something wrong and it is going to a diagnostic mode. When the knob starts going around, immediately begin counting how many times the red light blinks. Call Splendide and they can diagnose the error from the number of blinks you counted. I would recreate the problem more than once so you know that you counted right.

Splendide 2100 no longer dries clothes

We had the same problem with our splendide 2100 top loader. If you remove the top cover, you will find 2 circular like black discs (the size of a dime) on the right hand side about 6 inches from the front. You need to push those down (with a very small blunt object) to reset them. Please make sure that you unplug your washer/dryer before you attempt this. Good luck.
