check tension on the w/belt to loose will make it slip other wize check your drive motor belt thats under the hood. if you see a bunch of black dust your belt is worn replace
you need to adjust the travel of belt. to do this you need a allen wrench that came with it. if you have it run treadmill at slow speed,go to the rear right at the right end cap there is a hole, use the allen wrench and unscrew slowly while watching the belt until returns to the middle. if it slips when walking go back to rear and adjust by screwing in one turn on each side until belt wont slip.
This could be because the belt on the motor that turns the belt you walk on is worn out. it has grooves on this belt that must be prominant to stay in the groves on the front roller and motor. The motor belt can be ordered for about 20$ shipped on ebay the motor belt number is 118016 this is a universal belt and fits this treadmil. Before buying the replacement belt check to see if this is for sure your problem. you can tell by opening the front of your treadmill and looking at the belt. You will see worn spots on the motor belt, or as I noticed when mine went bad, it will look like someone threw a bunch of rubber eracer shavings in your treadmill.
