Apn settings looking for data (internet and MMS) APN settings for H20 wireless on my Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9500. Can anyone help?

Once in the APN setting page, tap 'Menu > New APN' and fill up the required fields.
In case you happen to not know anything about those details, please, tell me your country and carrier. I would do my best to fetch those settings for you.

or anyone wanting to know how to change their APN settings for future reference here it is:

on the keypad type *#87927# and wait until the APN setting pops up. click the APN available.

then change these settings.


name : t-mobile us 310 260 ----> name : simple
APN : epc.tmobile.com ----> APN : simple
proxy : not set ----> proxy : 216.155.165.050
port : not set ----> port : 8080
username <leave blank>
password <leave blank>
server <leave blank>
mmsc <don't change>
mms proxy : not set ----> mms proxy : 216.155.165.050
mms port : not set ----> mms port : 8080
mcc <don't change>
mnc <don't change>
apn type <don't change>
authentification type <don't change>

after that just back out and give it a few minutes. as long as you have the data plan your 3g icon should show up ready to go.

Manual network selection

The device detects and registers on wireless networks inside T-Mobile's calling area, but roaming networks are usually restricted to T-Mobile SIM cards. You can manually select a network only in areas where T-Mobile does not own GSM spectrum.

  3. Tap Network operators.
  4. Wait while the device populates a list of available networks.

Switch 2G / 4G

On the main screen of the Galaxy S5, select Settings.
You should now be able to see Mobile Data - Access Point Names, hit there
Once you are in the APN, please delete any existing APN you have listed there, after that, please create a New APN

Really simple to fix
1. settings >wireless and network > mobile network settings > use packet data> tick
2. settings >wireless and network > mobile network settings > access point names > [click on your APN] > [scroll down to you see "APN type" > click and change to "Internet + MMS"
