I dont know how to change the time on my decathlon geonaute watch

I nearly went crazy pushing buttons, but finally got the right combination. From the normal Time Display (as you would normally use the watch, no need to push any buttons) Push and Hold for a few seconds the Lap/Reset Button. The "Set" Mode will become active. Release the Lap/Reset button when Set appears in the Display. Notice in the Display a small Arrow that points to a button, either the ST/STP or Mode Button. (Initially it will be the ST/STP Button). When you depress the button to which the arrow points, the Field Flashing in the display will be set (For ST/STP) or Changed to the next Field (When the Arrow Points to the Mode Button). Simply toggle through the fields (using the Mode Button) and set (using the ST/STP Button) as needed. You will also be offered the ability to set the Month, Date, Day, 12/24 HR, and a M-D (It stands for Month - Date, in Europe it's more common to display as Date - Month). I did not change this field since by default on my watch it displayed M - D first. The setting cycle will be finished off when you have set the various fields by again pushing the Lap/Reset Button. Not related to setting the watch, but possibly useful, the Watch will completely reset if all the buttons are pushed at the same time, including pushing the Display Light (or in the case of this watch, the illumination used for the Display Characters). Hope this helps, it worked for me.

I am trying to get the Mephisto, Master, to move as white first. I have set the operation mode at +top but it still opens up game playing computor as black

Hello,

My name is Paul and I can answer your question about making the Mephisto Master Chess computer play the white pieces.

1. Set up the pieces so that you are playing black or have black pieces closest to you.

2. Push the option button and push your finger or a chess piece down on square G1 making sure that you have a symbol with the appearance of a cross to the left of the word top.

3. Push the clear button once and you will recognize that the display is showing that white has the turn.

4. push the enter button one time to force white to show its first move. Now what you see in the display will not be correct but stand up and look at the display lights horizontal and veritcal and you will see that they indicate the correct piece to be moved but the alphabetical and numerical information on the LCD or the display will not match.
Follow the display lights and look the the piece symbol and you will see what I am talking about.
I haven't figured out how to make the computer show the correct information yet but when I do I will let you know immediately.

Have fun

I have no owners manual. how do i program the garage door opener

Okay, first step is to clear any preprogramed doors or gates, engine must be off, press and hold the two outside buttons until the display confirms the operation (20 sec). this next step you will need the transmitter for the door you are programing, pick a button of the three you want to program, place the transmitter next to button and you will push them both at the same time and release, note the transmitter or hand held garage door opener what ever you call it, i dont want to confuse you ,when i say transmitter i mean the garage door opener, this must be close to buttons 1 inch at least, after you puhed and release both buttons at the same time then you are done. to program the other buttons just hold the next opener near the button and push both buttons, you dont need to hold the outside buttons again unless you want to erase all programing, good day let me know how it works.

Onscreen display

I had the same problem when I pushed the wrong button and didn't know which button I had pushed. The Date and Time just blinked. I could change them with the clock buttons. Then I really got frustrated. I saw the display button. I pushed it. It seemed that nothing had happened. Then I pushed it again, and part of the display disappeared. So, I pushed it again and yeah!! the whole display disappeared. So, try pushing the display button enough times to get the display to disappear. You have waited a long time for an answer. I hope you got one before today, 5-18-2009. I am not an expert, and I have no manual. But, I found a way to get rid of the display. I'll try to not push the display button again if I don't really need it. I think that you have to cancel the display before you record. I don't think it can be taken out of the playback.
