LG enV2 wont get past the black screen with the verizon logo

My phone won't turn on, it just keeps flashing the black screen with the verizon logo on it... any thoughts? I would like to repair it so I can at least transfer my contacts over to a new phone... my enV2 just flashes the black screen with the verizon logo. it wont turn off or respond to anything. it only turns off by removing the battery

    My cell phone's screen is black when phone is on. A couple times the screen works but starts to turn black really slowly. What's wrong with it?

Flashing the logo means that the LCD is fine and kicking. You must get the phone's firmware reinstalled. The reason of flashing Verizon Logo is that it cant read or follow the instructions beyond the logo stage. So, give it the stuff to read or follow. Reinstall the firmware and you will find that everything moves smoothly.

Phone turns on but wont go past the start up rumor by LG screen
You need to take your LG Rumor back to the store were you bought it. If you have insurance they will fix it or give you a new phone.

Well Then You Have A Faulty Phone, You Need To Go To Verizon And Get A New One, It Should Be Free Unless You Smashed Your Phone Or Something Of That Manner, And You Should Be Provided With A Free Contact Transfer. :D
