My tv screen flickers for my non hd channels. In addition there are color variances for both the hd and non-hd channels. There also seems to be the problem of image lingering although this seems more of a minor issue. When I change channels a black screen briefly appears and then the channel changes to the desired channel. This is normal, but now there I can definitely see previous images on the black screen before the tv goes to the new channel. Finally the colors are no longer sharp especially the green and blue colors. The tv suddenly shut itself off as I was watching and upon turning it back on these problems appeared. When I play a DVD these problems are the same as well.

Once minute my Vizio P50HDM was working the next minute the picture was barely visible. I called Vizio and they gave me a number for a repair company. Their company gave me a $650 estimate. I called a few other local placed and they said that this is a very common problem for this model TV. All the places gave me an estimate of between $600 - $700. I called Vizio to complain, but they are not interested.

There are 3-4 issues in here,one of them might be a bad convertion part in there. It is not worth your time and money to guess the issue,if it is under warranty,you should take it back.If not,repair tech. would be the way to go!
