Hi: Is it so full you blocked the vents in the back? It's possible it was going through a defrost cycle when you checked and it naturally spiked in temperature. Don't open the door every few minutes ( everybody does it) as you will dump the cold air out of it. Call Service if it isn't one of the simple things get it rolling, as it would be serious. If I'm right call and cancel the service call. I hope your problem is simple and cheap, Jeff

The refrigerator warning beeper is going off and the temperature is slowly rising. the freezer is working fine. it is a samsung model RB2055BB

Unplug for 24 hours and replug. After 2 hours of running, temps of fridge and freezer should be close to normal and water pan should be nearly full. If so, suspect your defrost heater as needing replacing, and note that unit will behave as-is for a few days and then your symptom will return, confirming the need for the new heater. Change the small inexpensive clip-on thermostat at the same time.

Why is the control panel flashing HI on my Delfield RS10550 ?

Not sure why you would want a -19 degrees when ice cream usually is about -10.
I have had some issue with their freezers not holding temp. Would have a temperature rise and cause the compressor to come on in as little as 4 minutes. Never found the cause. I would cause the compressor to come on and over heat and go out on overload. Sorry but I can not give an exacting answer. This is not normal for most freezers.

Freezer temp. keeps rising

try to turn off the freezer and adjust the temp. settings to a minimum.. Make it 20 minutes for your fridge to turn off before you turn it on. If the temp. keeps on rising, refer to your freezer manufacturer to repair the thermostat inside of it.

It seems that the temp more often goes up to 20-30's and that food is not as frozen when I check it. When temp goes up I check it for next couple of minutes and usually within 10 min the temp is back down...

This is normal. All commercfial freezers must defrost 3 to 5 times a day, or they will freeze over at the coil and then stop freezing. A timer in your freezer turns off the compressor and turns a heating element on for 10 to 15 minutes. During that time the coil heats and melts frost from the coil. Usually within 30 minutes the temperature will briefly rise to 20 t0 25 degrees F and then quickly drop down to 0 degrees F. The food rarely defrosts in this short period of time..

you do not say how full/empty you keep the freezer.
pad out empty spaces with any spare foam (stops air movement when you open door) could be faulty temp sensor...or auto defrost sensor .......rare.
