Reversing Labels before Printing

DMX i-4308 reverses the feed before each label printed. The problem is that the reverse feed is reversing so far that the print head is losing pressure on the label and the prints are coming out badly aligned or not feeding at all. Where is the setting found to adjust the reverse feed distance?

It's called "Present Distance" and it can be set to "0" in the printer's control panel. Look under Print Control.

SOURCE: Z4MPlus Ribbon wrinkles causing lines diagonally across label.

Could be down to tension on the ribbon roller/spool. Check to see if you have pulled out the end part of the spool (black bit) that should ensure there is back tension on the ribbon.

SOURCE: the printer will print one

This sounds like a size issue, meaning that your label has too many lines and that kicks to the "next page".

Look for too many line items on first label.

Can Cymo lables be used in the Smart Label Printer 100

If you mean Dymo labels and if the Dymo labels have a black rectangle on the reverse and if the labels aren't to wide, then the labels should work. You may run into problems with the Label printer advancing too far after printing; unfortunately, you will have to manually re-align the label after printing

Paper feed to far for labels

You should adjust the shutter as well to the size of the paper. Another thing is you can manually select the paper type under the printer settings. Go to Printers and Faxes > Properties of your default printer and manually select the paper type.

Printing avery labels

Black ink printing on the reverse? On the wrong side of the page? I hate to ask, but is it possible that the labels just need to be turned the opposite way when you put them in the printer?

My Dymo Labelwriter 450 turbo feeds out 4 labels each time I print one. The print setting is on one label. The first one prints and the next three are blank. If I try to use the reverse button the printer...

Multiple label feeding usually occurs because the sides of the spool holding the roll are not squeezed tightly together. Make sure there's no gap between the labels and the sides of the spool. If this doesn't help. take out the labels and blow a blast of air into the feed slot. There is a sensor inside the slot on the left that detects the hole in the labels, and maybe it is blocked.

Hi, I have DataMax ST3210, while printing it is instering a blank page randomly. Please advise

Check that your format is centered top and bottom on the stock, and that you have at least 1/8" quiet area top and bottom.
If you are printing on stock with an eye-mark, ensure that your print does not interfere with the area at the eye-mark. The printer will try to print the format, but if the eye-mark is in the way, even if the format is printed completely, will feed a blank label.
The also applys to standard die cut labels. with standard 1/8 die cut between labels

Dear Sirs, I have a DATAMAX I 4308 ,I am very satisfied with him. Sometimes when I print on low speed after 20 min.labels are printed discontinuosly I had on display MOTOR THROTTLING ,printer stopped...

Motor Throttling is a warning message designed to protect and prevent the power supply and motor from overheating. It occurs after 30 minutes or so of continuous printing and printing slows down to about half the speed. It will eventually go back to printing regular speed, but if it's that much of annoyance it can be disabled under the printer menu under print control. If you wish you can do that.

We can not use our print DATAMAX DMX M CLASS

What type of stock are you using? Gapped, continuous, or reflective mark?
If you are using a standard gapped stock, and the stock is loaded in the printer and ready, press the feed button until 3-6 labels are passed beneath the media sensor.

If you are using reflective (eyemarked stock) go in the the media settings. Change the sensor type to reflective.
Make sure that the eyemark is presented to the sensot at the small white strip on the sensor. Do not move the sensor to a place where the sensor will see anything but the mark.

Z4M printer suddenly running in reverse

The problem is in the power supply board and must be replaced. What fails is the chip stepper motor driver.

Labels enlarged

if they are diferent resolutions, ex. you change from 200 dpi to 300 dpi, you need to change something inside the printer like the gears (just reversing the platten roller gear and the the withe gera on the motor) and you are printing on 300 dpi with very small fontes.

Labels printing in reverse order

It's not the printers, has to be the software.
