Use slightly warm ingredients or leave the freezer bowl out of the freezer for a few minutes before beginning - this will help if the rim around bowl freezes so fast that it stops the paddle from moving. When working optimally, I found that 3 different Cuisinart ice cream maker models will produce the best ice cream at around 14 to 20 minutes - no more than that. But it varies by your exact model #.

Taylor 754-27 runs good until ice cream is made then trips-not able to restart in auto or wash-able to turn beater with hand-not binding - after ice cream becomes liquid able to start again in auto or...

It is possible that your viscosity is set too cold. You should check the temperature of your product to see if it is too cold. Is the Ice Cream hard? It sounds like maybe the beater overload is tripping. Some of the overloads can reset on their own. If you have and know how to use an ammeter, it would be beneficial to check the amp draw of the beater motor to determine if you are exceeding the overload or not. Ice cream is generally good at a temp between 16 and 20 degrees F. Temps vary with product and product brands. I hope this information helps, it is hard to determine exact problem without being there.

maybe you have a super strong husband who tried a little too hard to loosen the lid once and now it won't seal or catch. if he is equally smart as strong maybe he could get some sort of gasket type idea going with the lid or something else ingenious. but it sounds like that might not be up his ally as much as throwing it across the room. could you try buying a new lid since everything else is working well? maybe the lord is telling you to get more iron in your diet and less ice cream? ha!

Machine is model 750-27can you help me? runs for only about 5seconds not long enough to make ice cream

Welcome to FixYa
An electric ice-cream maker is a tabletop appliance for mixing and freezing ice cream at home. A small electric motor drives gears that turn the canister filled with the ingredients for ice cream. The canister is surrounded with ice and rock salt to freeze the contents. Alternately, a hand crank on top replaces the motor.
Although durable, ice-cream makers can require a few repairs. A common problem is damage to motors or gears from mixing too large batches of ice cream or from neglecting a jammed mixing paddle. The electrical cord can fail and motor bearings can dry out.
Read Following ...
  • Use your cylinder bowl correctly. If the cylinder isn't handled properly, your ice cream won't set. Make sure it is dried completely after washing so ice doesn't form on the walls, make sure to leave it in the freezer overnight before making ice cream and don't leave the bowl out at room temperature before using.
  • Check your freezer door. If it isn't sealed properly, or if it's constantly being opened during the freezing process, your ice cream can't set properly.
  • Handle the ingredients correctly. Don't let the ingredients warm and don't overfill the bowl. Check the manufacturers recommendations for the maximum bowl capacity.
  • Clean and dry your machine thoroughly. Use a damp cloth on the motor assembly; never immerse. Make sure to wash the lid, blade and cylinder according to directions and make sure the cylinder is absolutely dry before freezing.
  • Contact the manufacturer's support site only after you have exhausted your options. They may walk you back through the steps you've already taken, but at best your problem will get fixed far more quickly because you eliminated the easy problems in advance.

Why doesn't the ice cream freeze?

It depends upon which techniques you are using to make an ice cream.
If you are using a maker to make an ice cream then it will take hardly 30 to 45 minutes, not more then that.
For making a delicious ice cream right amount of ingredients should be added and should be mixed in a proper way, if it is not mixed in an appropriate manner then possibly you will not get the real taste that exactly you want.

Ice cream maker instructions

Hi,
I have the booklet for this machine.
1) you can use any IC recipe as long as it does not exceed 1 quart. This is for vanilla:
1/2 c sugar
1 1/4 c half&half
1 1/2 c heavy whipping cream
2 eggs 2 tsp vanilla
with mixer beat eggs and sugar until thincl and cream colored. Addthe cream and vanilla mix well.

the machine:

you want to put the freezer cylinder in a plastic bag (to prevent freezer burn) and then put it in the back of your freezer until completely frozen 6 to 22 hours. You should not be able to hear liquid slosh when you shake it. For making stuff quick they recommend keeping it in the freezer in the bag.

step one: Put maker on flat surface.

two: Put the mixer bowl on the base.

three: Place frozen cylinder into to the mixer bowl (the big one) do this when you are ready to start the IC because the cylinder begins defrosting right away.

four: set the paddle on top of the cylinder, placing the peg on the freezer cylinder inside the peg hole on the paddle

five: Place the cover over the mixer bowl, locking the grooves on the motor base. Plug in, turn on, the bowl and cylinder will begin to turn.

six: Pour the recipe into the feeder hole of the cover then put the lid on.

You will need 20 to 40 minutes or until mixture is frozen. Don't stop the machine until done. If you want hard ice cream spoon the soft serve into an airtight bowl and put it in the freezer till it is like you want it.

Hope this helps, Elizabeth
