Because if label lengh is ex. 20mm and you set up label print area as 21mm, it will over the size and it will skip the next one. the print area shoul be less than the label length. please verify software or driver.

SOURCE: prints out 2 labels at once

I've seen this be due to dirty sensor or misconfigured media setting.  Clean the sensor in the middle of the edge on the inside and outside of the printer, then if still having trouble - Inside the printer it should tell you that if you are having printing trouble:

  1. turn off the printer
  2. Hold down the feed button
  3. turn on the printer and at the third red flash release the feed button
  4. it will then feed some pages print some info and ask you to hit feed again to exit dump
  5. hit feed again and it will say exiting dump
You have just made it reconfigure media, and it may know when to stop feeding now.

SOURCE: Zebra LP 2844 printer will not print anything but the test page

possibly not a real LP2844 but an LP2543, a printer mass produced for and used by UPS. refurbishers change the label and sell as LP2844 because they are almost identical.
if it has an AC-AC adapter, it is an LP2543. LP2844 uses a AC-DC adapter, and all LP2844's have USB ports.

Unplug the printer, place your finger on the green button and with the other hand turn the printer back on. Let the light flash four times (flash, flash flash, flash flash flash, flash flash flash flash) then immediately release the green button. The printer will cycle and feed out a couple of labels. Press the green button one more time and you are ready to go.

Our mini split in winter works like normal. Have it set on heat, medium fan and economy. It turns on and off day and night. In the summer the same settings but in cool mode. It NEVER shuts off. We are...

I do know that some mini split fans run continuously. This would be in the cool setting though, I honestly have never seen anyone use a mini split for heat. SWFL here. Call tech support for the manufacturer and see what they say!

Was working fine until just not enough power to split log

Air conditioners usually cannot split logs very well. They are better at cooling instead of splitting wood. If you have a wood splitter and picked AC by mistake then I would check the hydraulic fluid level, grease the slide that the splitter wedge runs on. Then change the oil in the engine and clean the airfilter or replace it. Also make sure you use fresh gas and not old gas. gas goes bad after sitting a few months.

What is the purpose of splitting axes?

Splitting axe is used in wood splitting to split the grain of the wood. Splitting axe bits are more wedged shaped.

How do I fix error 571 on my 9800 monarch ticket machine using my loftware 32 design ticket?

If you are getting error 571 from Nebraska Book Company's WinPrism inventory control system, File --> System Settings --> set the Receipt Type to 8-1/2 X 11. It seems irrelevant but it works.

Another possible resolution to the problem is to remove the Windows (XP, 7, 8, 10) profile of the offending user:

0. Login as the offending user and backup anything they want to keep, like browser bookmarks/favorite or documents on the desktop.
1. Log into Windows as a local administrator.
2. Control Panel --> User Accounts --> select the offending user --> Remove.
3. Restart.
4. Log into Windows as a local administrator.
5. Delete C:\Users\offending_user
6. The following is necessary to avoid a "temporary profile" error: Regedit.exe HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE --> Software --> Microsoft --> Windows NT --> Current Version --> ProfileList --> select each entry until you find the one with a ProfileImagePath of C:\Users\offending_user and delete it.
7. Control Panel --> User Accounts --> add the user.
8. Login as the offending user, add the printer, and now it should work.

My printer always start printing short so that the lables end up on two pieces instead of one

We must establish whether the problem is a moving label or just that the labels are not aligned properly. Is hte printing split across the two labels consistant regardless of hte number of labels printed? If so, then the lables are not aligned properly. The user manual has the procedure for aligning these. This is part of the setup procedure.

If hte first line of the labels changes position on subsequent printings, then either the label size is not defined properly or the format being used is not correct. I don't have the manual handy at the moment so I can't give you the particulars, but if you could update this and tell me which of the 2 conditions you are experiencing, I will look up the specifics in the morning.

Thanks,
Dan

Printer keeps becoming the Default printer

You could try checking in control panel -> printers -> right click each printer and choose set as deafualt -> Only thing is You will probably have to log in as each user (staff) that it occurs with and check these settings.

Also check any printer settings for the application that You use to do labels etc.

Check with each users log on that it doesnt work with
