Hi, the machine just stopped in the middle of the wash cycle. Here is what I can tell you about it, there is power to the on/off switch, both legs of the 120 volt. Control panel has no lights/code ect showing. It appears that there is no power to the control board and it may have crapped out again.. Main line fuses in machine are fine, power at on/off switch. Is there some other fuse, limit switch that would kill all the functions and codes on the main program panel? I can not get any lights or codes to come up on the panel.. The machine is a W20004 washer, serial WM200 9345-034444.

Machine lost power during wash cycle.

If the electricity does power off in the middle of washing cycles the washing machine will turn off then. Some of the most common problems that will make your washer turn off during mid cycle can include thermostat failure or issues filling up with water for the rinse cycles or even problems with the pump and the hose that can stop your washer from draining the water. You should call a person that fixes washing machines to have a look and see what the problem is with your washing machine.

Washing machine quite during the middle of a cycle. It has no water, doesn't spin, doesn't make any noise at all.The dryer still works so im sure it getting power!Any help is very much appreciated

Check power to controls on washer first. If no power change sockets in wall duplex to rule out bad duplex . Timer would work in at least one cycle mode so we'll rule that out. Door safety switch would cause sudden stop of machine

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Please check the belt and lid switch or a broken lid switch plunger. Also check the lid switch actuator and the timer. Please replace whichever is required to be replaced.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

you both seem to have bad lid switches. A bad lid switch will prevent draining and spinning.
