Radio pro 4 wiring

You should purchase a radio harness for your car, and it's wires will connect to wires of the same color from your JVC radio harness. Join the two harnesses together (solder, crimp caps, barrel connectors, etc.) and then one end plugs into your JVC, the other end plugs into the factory harness that the original radio was connected to. If for some reason, your factory harness plug has been cut, you'll have to hardwire the JVC harness. I've included a link to the wiring diagram for your car. The steering wheel controls are moot; they will not work unless you've got some aftermarket adapter that allows them to interface with the JVC radio.

Need color codes for new radio to 99 nissan sentra

Hello jmartinatl,

The color codes for your receiver is here.

Just match the function of each wire the the appropriate wire on your vehicle. Or better yet, purchase a vehicle specific aftermarket wiring harness that plugs into the vehicle wiring.

Hope this helps.

Connect jvc kd-lh1150 in elantra 2001... different connector

Hello claude_bouth,You need a vehicle specific aftermarket connector generally called a "wiring harness". Your JVC came with a plug that fits the back of the receiver with "pigtail" wires which you splice to the harness wires. http://www.SonicElectronix.com sells the Metra 70-7301 which appears to be the correct harness for your Elantra. You can tap into the wiring of the car harness and splice the wires by function into the appropriate car wires, but using the aftermarket vehicle specific wiring harness is a lot easier and you don't need to disturb the vehicle wiring in any way, just plug into it. It also makes it possible to re-install the factory radio if you ever need to do so. If you choose to tap and splice, you can find your Elantra's wiring color code at http://www.modifiedlife.com.Hope this helps.

I dont know how to wire it to my car stereo wires

Do yourself a favor and run to audio store or even autoparts store & get an adapter plug/harness, cost is a few bucks but well worth it. It plugs into factory harness & you wire your new stereo to it according to diagram with new system.

Wiring my jvc kd-g331 to a 1996 vauxhall corsa

You can go to a place that installs car stereos and purchase a universal wiring harness for your car that will cost about $15 and allow you to do the wiring very easy without the need to know what every wire is for. This harness would be wired to the harness you got from JVC for your new radio and all you need to do is to match the colors of the JVC harness to the same colors of the universal harness that would then just plug right into the factory wiring harness for your car and then the other end plugs into the connector for your JVC radio. It is very easy and insures that you have all the proper wires connected to operate your radio and have full functions available for use.

If you require to know what each wire from the JVC harness is for, just ask.

I would be happy to offer you more help if you need it, just reply to this post and I will get back to you as soon as I am able.

If you found this free information to be useful a FixYa! rating would be appropiate and very much appreciated. After all, it is the only reward we get for helping people like yourself for free.

Thanks and good luck with your radio installation,

Dave

I am having trouble trying to install a stereo to my 1994 lincoln town car because i dont now the color code to the radio harnes so i can install it

Best thing to do is purchase a Radio Wiring Harness. These can be purchased at a Store like Circuit City, Best Buy, WalMart (not sure of your location) or a 12 Volt Specialty shop.

This harness will connect to your new radio harness and plug directly into the vehicle harness without having to cut wires. The Radio Wiring Harness will come with color identification to match to your radio harness.
