I am having a problem with my dryer it stays on the same setting the timer doesnt move at all. There is also no heat so the dryer will stay on for a long time without drying.
You either have a tripped curcuit breaker or your heating element is blown. If the timer cannot sense that the heater is in the curcuit it will not advance check your curcuit breaker first. flip it on and then off and let me know if you have heat
unplug unit take the back panel off and check the heater it is located on the right side with 2 red wires attached to it and there is a themistate also mounted on the side all you want to check is to see if you have continuity between the 2 red wires. make sure at leat one of those red wires is detached from the heater first to get a proper reading. or you can just take it off and see where the break is it is attached by 2 1/4 inch bolts. let me know how it goes.
