Can anybody help.
My samsung le32r7 lcd tv digital tv is not working properly, The DTV is stuck on one channel. The on screen text display does not go away. None of the functions of the DTV work either, D.menu does not work, i am unable to review the tv guide.
any help would be much appreciated.
I have found the solution at last :)
Put the TV in standby and press these buttons in order
Info, Menu, Mute and Power on.
You will then see a hidden menu, on line 12 select reset
Bingo :)
I just found the solution to this problem.
Press these buttons on the remote while the tv is in standby
Info, Menu, Mute, Power On.
You will then see a new menu and on line 12 there is a reset option.

This hasnt helped. Text box stuck, channel stuck. Tried 5 times. Any ideas?

This method finally worked after a few times so don't give up. Also you should try scrolling left and right on reset line 12 of secret menu and play about a bit. Brilliant guys...CHEERS. :)
Hi. Got the secret menu up for 6th or 7th time and I scrolled left and it went off,,,,when i pressed Power On button it came to 'Plug & Play' menu and I installed the channels as if I had just bought the TV and it started to load all the DTV channels. Now working fully. I suggest keep trying this method and even unplug the set overnight then try again and again the next day. It eventually worked for me. Many thanks to all involved.
Tried this five times, its not helping. On screen text is stuck, with time at 10:01am, it is now 8:43pm, and it is stuck on BBC1. Help!
I can get the secret menu up but can not then scroll up or down to select anything?

I had the same problem as of last night - very odd! Picture stuck with little access to functions. Solution worked on 2nd attempt - thank you - you saved us a small fortune probably as guarantee ran out last month!

Don't work my tv is literally stuck my tv remote doesn't work I have replaced batteries the only thing I could do is click menu on the side of the tv
leave TV 0n and unplug from the mains socket. Wait two mins and ease the plug back in until standy light flicks on Pull it back and push in again .do this twice then push home completely the Tv may come back on or go into stand by mode If into standby click on as usual. You may have to do this a couple of times

I have a Sony Trinitron KV32XBR100 the not responding to channel controls on remote and I don't know how to + or - channels. Something I
do with the remote is making the channel stay on one station.
Solution above worked brilliantly - no mention of the hidden menu in the handbook so would have paid an engineer a furtune to do what i've just done in 5 minutes. Thanks all!!

LG 60PG60 plasma tv is stuck on one channel. Have turned tv on and off and tried changing channels with the remote and will not change. Does anyone know what is wrong with it??

It is a samsung - and i tried the secret menu, got to the reset option (12) however how do i accept the change? If i press ok nothing happens. My Tv is stuck in mono mode also

Yes! - it took a couple of tries but it worked. I wonder why this problem occurs. I also wonder who designed a system that requires what amounts to a hack in order to tune your TV. And while I'm at it, the manual for this TV is shockingly poor..
