Backlight part number for backlight

You will want to take this into a local PC repair shop to have them repair this; Not all PC repair shops do this type of work.

If you want to do this yourself, look up the backlight part number based on your model of laptop, and order the backlight.

Post the laptop manufacturer name, and model number.
The model number is on the Bottom of the laptop.

Offhand, I would guess a reference to the LED backlighting on the laptop.
If this holds true, and you have no Backlight, the normal procedure is to replace the LCD screen.

With most laptops utilizing LED's as a Backlight, the LED backlighting is incorporated into the LCD screen assembly, and that's why when the LED backlighting goes bad, the LCD screen itself is replaced.

If sound output is OK, and there is no picture, the fault is with backlight section itself. Check its backlight CCFL lamps, and backlight inverter board for fault. This is the picture of the backlight inverter board to your TV. It can ble located at the left side of the display panel. There is norepair to this bard other than repalce it with same type and number. Before replace it, check whether proper voltage comes to it from the main power regulator board.

You haven't either given its Brand name or its Model number. Anyway, as it is an LCD TV, this is common fault to all brands. Check its backlight CCFL tubes, and the backlight inverter board.
Actually there is picture, but you cant see it as there is no backlight. OK.

Suggest you replace the Inverter. A Backlight goes out all at once.
90% of the time the Inverter is the hardware part at fault.

A Backlight is used to supply the needed extra lighting.
A Backlight is a CCFL.
Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp.
Similar to Fluorescent lighting used in homes, and businesses, but on a much smaller scale

An Inverter is used to required power for the LCD screen, and the Backlight.
Boosts power up for the LCD screen, brings it down for the Backlight.

Replacing an Inverter is a simple job. Replacing a Backlight is not.
The Backlight is located within the LCD screen assembly.

The metal frame of the LCD screen assembly is removed along the edge where the Backlight is located, to access replacing the Backlight.

In the above list for Service Manual, click on > Display Assembly and Display Latch.

You have to have THE correct Inverter.

You can look on ebay and find your backlights cheep. you can Bing that model number along with Backlights and get a idea of who, where and how much.

I also have a SAMSUNG LE52M87 LCD TV and I have the same
ANOYING BUZZ comming from ( I think ) backlight converter. - I am
almost 100% that its because of the backlight inverter while the sound shifts frequency when backlight is changed ( from 1 - 10 ), but the volume of the buzz stays the same. Only the tone changes. I have this TV for a year now and havent realy noticed until now, so I think it started buzzing recently, because I didnt hear it before ( and I got realy sensitive hearing :) ) ...

ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY ...

PLEASE post what happened when ( if ) you changed the inverter,
or what did you do to solve the problem ...

Plain and simple there is something wrong with the LCD on your phone, needs to be repaired if possible
