I have the same problem with this particular Samsung Home Theater System -- except mine has no sound at all. Replaced all speaker wires and the cord between DVD and woofer. My son seems to think it's the woofer. Any suggestions????

On the remote control for the Samsung Home Theater System look at the bottom left to a button that says "MODE", those moods change the sound each speaker gives off. if that doesn't work, you might need new wiring because there are other wires that are more durable than the ones that come with it, much better too.

How can stop Samsung HT-EM53C Blu-ray system from opening the CD tray?

It sounds like you have an issue with the Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) function. When the home theater system is connected to a compatible TV by an HDMI cable, you can sync the operations when this is enabled on both the TV and the home theater system.

You need to be turn the feature off on one or both devices. If you have another HDMI port on the TV, you could move the HDMI cable to that port. (Most TVs only have one HDMI-CEC enabled port.) Note: this turns off the audio return channel option. If you only have the HDMI cable connected between the TV and the HT-EM53C, you will need to connect another cable. Depending on the TV, this could be an optical audio cable, analog RCA audio cable or headphone (3.5mm) to RCA audio cable.

The manual for the Samsung HT-EM53C is available at ManualsLib here: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/355628/Samsung-Ht-Em53c.html .

A summary of the Anynet+ feature is here: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/355628/Samsung-Ht-Em53c.html?page=29#manual . Accessing and navigating the Settings menu is discussed here: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/355628/Samsung-Ht-Em53c.html?page=25#manual . Press the Home button on the remote and go to the icon with the gear.

I hope this helps.

Regent-HT-2004 To new Samsung but no sound comes out. Regent has only rca cables tv only has hdmi and optical. Have tried 3 different hook ups - rca to hdmi adapter with its own power source, hdmi to rca...

You probably will get the best result if you use a digital to analog audio converter. Amazon has a number of models: https://www.amazon.com/DA-Converters/b?ie=UTF8&node=3224445011 . You will need to provide the optical audio cable. You connect the TV's optical audio out to the converter's input. Then use the converter's RCA output to the home theater system's audio input.

The TVs HDMI port is only an HDMI input (possibly with Audio Return Channel). This isn't usually resolved by an HDMI-RCA Converter. This converter might have worked to split off the audio signal from a Blu-ray player with an HDMI cable to the converter and then another HDMI cable to the TV and the RCA audio going to the Home Theater system.

I hope this helps.

How can i listen the tv sound on the home conema? I connected by hdmi cable. tks

You have to connect audio cables (red & white or optical) from your TV's AUDIO OUT to the Home Theater's AUX IN 2 (below VIDEO IN).

Press AUX on the remote control until it says AUX 2. (This would be D. IN when you're using an optical cable)

Samsung ht-z310 home theatre audio problem

All,

I submitted an earlier request trying to determine why surround sound wasn't coming through all speakers when playing my TV.

Looking further into the Samsung site I found out that you MUST connect the optical cable from the home theater unit to the CABLE BOX and not to your TV to get surround sound...I'm currently in the office but will change the connection once home...try connecting to your CABLE BOX instead of your TV and it should resolve the problem.

Hooking up home theater

Run a regular RCA type audio cable from your TV audio out to your Home Theatre audio in. That is what I have done recently with my Samsung LCD and Home Theater. You then have to put your Home Theater on Aux 1 or Aux 2 to get the sound from TV. Ensure your TV's volume is off.
