"unfortunately, setup wizard has stopped"

First of all, I am not very tech savvy so would appreciate easy to understand answers if possible! I was recently advised to do a hard recovery after encountering some problems on this tablet (yoga tablet 8 3g model 60044). Now, I cannot get further than wireless network connection. I tap scan, get the message 'unfortunately, setup wizard has stopped' and get sent back to the beginning. In other words, having done factory reset I cannot get beyond setup wizard to reach the home screen. I've asked on other forums but still no solution. Can anyone help?

Thanks for responding. Yes, my wifi is on and other devices connect ok. As I wrote before, as soon as I tap scan to connect wifi it just takes me to the beginning of setup wizard. I've asked on other forums about this (including Lenovo) but haven't got anywhere. Still baffled by this. Is there was a way to bypass setup wizard after a factory reset?

SOURCE: Thinkpad tablet pen problem

It could be a problem with the pen but I am not positive. I knew someone who had a problem a little different from this but involving the pen not working how it should. They called the company they got the laptop from (Gateway in their case) and they were sent a new pen for free. Lenovo might do that if it's under warranty or you could buy a new pen. It could be a problem with the drivers, though, in which case I am not entirely sure what to do. Maybe reinstall?

SOURCE: Lenovo x60 wireless problem

try checking in control panel>system>hardware>device manager>network adapters>wireless adapter: right-click> properties > advanced, whether it says "wireless on" next to the intel sign.
Worked on mine X60.

Hello. I purchased a pronto tec tablet from amazon and i am having a problem connecting an external speaker. Can somebody from tech support call me @ 586 242-7882. Thanks.

Unfortunately, fixya does not have a tech support team. We try to answer questions via postings with an all-volunteer staff.
If you require technical support for your Pronto tablet, you will need to contact Pronto themselves.
If you describe the problem you're having, and how you are attempting to connect to speakers, we may be able to help you.

Received in the mail today 3 of the 7" Genesis Prime tablets for my kids. One of the tablets is saying "Unfortunately the UI stopped & Unfortunately the Wizard has stopped" I didn't have any problems...

UI means "user interface." It likely means "GUI"--"graphical user interface"--pretty pictures on a screen upon which one points and clicks. Thus, you can't use the touchscreen. Try a "soft" reset. If that's ineffective, try a hard reset--often called something like "Restore Factory Settings." If you find the manual, physically--or online via a mfr. site PDF, follow it's procedure for those. Otherwise, try pressing the power on button for 20 seconds or so--see if the screen then offers hard reset. Press "Yes" or otherwise assent.

Don't have a password

So if I understand you correctly, you are now locked out of your Kindle and you never using a PIN Code when you setup the Kindle, correct?
Unfortunately there is no back door password, the only way to crack the Kindle is by calling customer service and usually they replace the unit, so you loose everything.
Sorry, I wish I had better news.

Cannot log into bios

You either remember the password or you probably have a large door stop. BIOS passwords are very secure to prevent theft. You can check my tip for possible ways to recover but no guarantee.

If this answers your question, I'd appreciate 4 thumbs. I do this for fun and do not get paid.
