I want to Scan and send by email in PDF format all pages !!

The scanning software that came with your Brother MFC7840w is responsible for the selection of available output formats of scanned images. Windows isn't the culprit. You might try contacting Brother but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

You need to install a printer driver PDF program on yourcomputer first. There are quite a few freeware PDF writer programs on theInternet you can download one such as CutePDF.
Scan your document then click on File - Print and select the PDF writer as theprinter device. Then name and save the PDF file. http://www.cutepdf.com/

Have you tried compressing the file into a zip format. If you are using Windows this can be done using right click or download zip genuis and use that. Once compressed the file should be small enough to email.

In order to scan a multi-page document into a single file, you must configure the scan to use a file type that supports multi-page documents. For illustrated instructions of how to scan multiple pages into one file instead of each scan being saved as a separate file go to here:

first thing, scan the document and when you typed the filename below that box is option, you can select what extension name you want to that file select pdf and click save. be sure you have pdf reader or acrobat reader etc..

I know that the Brother MFC-7840W came with a program called PaperPort, which will allow you to scan 1 or more documents into a PDF file. Perhaps your scanner supplied the same program.

Make a stack of the documents you want to scan and load them in the automatic feeder: The page to scan facing upward, and the top of the page inside. Press the Scan button and start (color or black).
If you choose the pdf format, you will have them in a single file.
