I have an RCA L32W11 and when I turn it on, the menu will pop up and down randomly and all the inputs say unusable signal. Sound is out as well but that is because I can't change it with the menu. Lost my remote as well.

That popping noise means the silicon grease underneath the audio ic has melted and is shorting the audio. This is unfortunately a design flaw by sharp. To fix the problem, you'd have to disassemble the entire TV and clean off the melted residue off of the AV Board and replace it with a new Sharp Heat Insulation Pad. Its a pretty difficult job, I suggest calling your local Sharp authorized service center to fix that for you.

This is a very common problem with these models.
The problem is very likely a fuse that has blown, if the following is true:
No Video on any input BUT HDMI and
No Audio at all.
Purchase a fuse, these are freaking tiny from digitalkey.com or mouser.com F1455ct-nd
Pull the back off of your unit
Pull the cover off of the PCB housing. It is the box that contains the hook ups including the cable tuner.
The silver box that you screw the cable to is where you begin to look for this fuse.
About two inches behind this silver box is some numbers printed on the board 7c32 and partially obscured will be 1c33
Using a big magnifier look next to the numbers listed above, you should see a tiny rectangle fuse with an F on it.
This F fuse is a 500ma fuse that is too small for the load
The fuse listed above will have a G on it. It is a 750ma fuse.
Call the repair shops in your area, tell them that you know the problem, have the part and you want to know how much the bench time and labor will be to repair your unit.
