Clean off the bottom of the door glass. If hair or lint builds up there, it dose not seal completely and a little water will run down the front of the machine. If that does not solve your problem, you can try moving the spring clamp (which holds the front of the tub seal)so the spring part is moved to the hinge area (a 80 degree move) instead of at the bottom of the door.

My LG model WM 1815CSwasher has leaked so much that the front has rusted out where the small front drain cover is located. Can you tell me how to remove the whole front cover so I sand and repaint the front of the washer? LG just gave me the company line that it was not covered in the warranty.

Thanks for any advice you can provide

Slip a sheet of newspaper under the bottom of the machine and it will indicate the area. If is does it when the machine is not running. My guess is that it is around the pump because some water always sits there, so either the pump body or the drain hose itself.

Washing machine top load leaking water bottom model # LXR7244JQ1

The pump is near the front, bottom of the machine. You need to unplug and unhook it from the water supply. Then get a wet and dry vacuum and remove all the water from the machine by using the vacuum on the drain hose. Then you can lay the machine down to get to the bottom of it and you can replace the pump. http://www.partselect.com/ModelSections.aspx?ModelID=709279&ModelNum=LXR7244JQ1&mfgModelNum=&ManufactureID=3&Selected=TVCOCCCE&Position=6&mfg=Whirlpool&Type=Washer&Mark=4

HL04932940 27" FRONT LOAD WHIRLPOOL HE WASHING MACHINE LEAKING WATER FROM BOTTOM

First check is the standpipe drain. The hose that comes from washer should not be inserted more than 4". More than that can cause a syphoning situation that can cause leaks from beneath. If that seems okay you will have to see where water is coming from by observing the machine in action with back or bottom service panel removed (if it has one.)

Water coming out of the bottom of the machine

Sometimes, what may seem like a washing machine leaking from bottom locations is actually one that leaks slowly from other spots. Slow leaks can accumulate beneath your washing machine making it seem like you have a bottom leak. For more help identifying the exact point of the leak, see Washing machine leaking.

Bottom leaks may be better identified using a newspaper. Just dry the floor and lay the newspaper beneath the washing machine before you test for leaks. Darkened sections map out your water leak. This method is not always foolproof, however. The best diagnosis will come from a qualified service professional inspecting your machine.

If your washing machine is leaking from bottom in the rear, you may need a replacement pump and professional installation. The leak could also be caused by a faulty air dome seal or a hole in the tub. For more troubleshooting steps to tackle that leak, see Washing machine leaking from bottom. I hope that helps!

First ck to see if your water pump is leaking. It normally leaks when the machine is running not just filling. Also look at all the attaching rubber hoses under the machine and see if water is leaking down the back right side of the machine and then running around the frame to the front long shot but possible.

Check the button trap. Little door at front bottom right corner. There is a big screw in plug that has to be closed very tightly. Also check the plug gasket is clean.
