Poor water supply, check the supply hose is not kinked. Check the supply tap is fully on. Check the debris filter in the hose to machine connection is clean.

Testimonial: "Thank you, turns out there was a block in the drain pipe."

SOURCE: E1 error on LG - LD-4120M

E1 is a common error in the LG Dishwasher range and is usually caused by the failure of the circulation pump and/or the impeller.

The motor and impeller are a complete unit.

Often what happens is the impeller breaks on the motor shaft and doesn't spin, therefore doesn't pump water.

There is a pressure sensor which indicates the lack of pressure and shuts the machine down with the E1 error being displayed.

The lack of pressure can also be from a water leak (as the owners manual suggests) also a controller PCB fault may produce an E1 error, however, the pump problem is extremely common.

Unfortunately, I have had 5 pumps die in 4 years and my dishwasher is only used about 4 times a week.

SOURCE: E1 ALARM ON KENWOOD DISHWASHER

An E1 is a control board error. Sometimes it can be soldered at the heat element relay which get hot often and can melt the solder ion the board. It is fairly easy to replace a control board.

We keep getting an error message E1. We have an LG 2120 model

The E1 or 1E error or fault code indicates that the washer is not filling with water. Check to be sure the water supply valves are open. Also, check to be sure the water supply hoses aren't kinked or clogged. Next, remove the hoses from the washing machine and run water into a bucket to test the pressure and flow of the water. If all of these check out and you have good water pressure and flow to the machine, you should replace the water inlet valve.

What is E1 error code

The E1 error code indicates a water inlet error. Do you still have your manual to test for this?

E1 error on Baumatic BAD6003

If you are getting E1 error then the dishwasher is suggesting that water is getting in but not enough. But if you are getting no water into the dishwasher then the water inlet valve inside it is faulty. Have you checked if there is water inside the dishwasher when you get E1 error. Another thing to find out is the water pressure specification of dishwasher and whether it is consistent with the mains pressure in the house. Usually there should be a plate on dishwasher door which would give water pressure required.

E1 error on kenwood didhwasher

Gday
As you said, it is not getting water.
E1 is just the machine telling you this.
A couple of easy ones to check:
1. remove the hose where it screws on to the dishwasher, leave the other end connected to the tap (preferably put the machine end in the sink or a bucket as to not make a mess), and turn on the tap. If the water is not getting through the hose, it may have a faulty water block (flood preventer) on it.
2. If there is water getting through the hose, make sure that the hose is not kinking as you push the dishwasher back in to its hole.
3. If there is water getting through the hose and it is not kinked, and you cannot hear any water going into the machine, you may have a faulty inlet solenoid or control board. Might be cheaper to get someone in to fix it. If you were to guess, I would start with the solenoid, as it would be the far cheaper part.
4. If you do hear water rushing in before you get the E1, then the machine does not know that it is getting water. Could be either a faulty pressure switch or the pressure tube that goes to the switch.

Hope this helps

What does error message E1 mean?

E1 error is "water supply" related. It might be water pressure or pressure switch issue

Is your water supply (in) in the off position? Your in hose is kinked?
