Diagrams bus-what does BUS stand for/and what is its function?

it you're replacing a passive pickups, you'll need to find a place for the battery (that'll be the hard part)
EMG specifies 25k pots, you might need those
plus a 'stereo' 1/4" output jack to switch the battery off when you unplug the guitar.
if you're not using the EMG routing bus (connector block thingie) yo want to wire it something like this

A bit more info about what you're you;re trying to do would be useful. You would normally use both these as inserts either on the main bus or more likely on an individual or subgroup bus, as you want them in sequence you'll come out of the insert send (tip) into the first unit (whichever you feel is best first) and then from its output into the input of the second unit, then from the output of the second unit into the insert return (ring)

Sorry, the Xenyx1202FX does not have a footswitch input. I would suggest if this function is needed to use an external FX unit which has a footswitch input.

This is probably a loose or damaged cable within. These channels I believe are grouped in groups of eight, so two groups would be dead for this function.

Most likely you blew a bus fuse. Can't say you should open it up and replace it though because there are lethal voltages inside of your amp that could hurt or kill you. You can find replacement bus fuses at radio shack. just make sure you get the same rated fuse. 500mA 125v or something like that in small writing on the metal part of the tiny glass cylinder.

Problem is likely thermal. Open unit carefully and use freeze mist (circuit cooler) to find bad component.

With that long a time period, it is possibly a component mounted on a heatsink.

is level pot defectives, needs to be replaced, u can change-them but is very comfusing, needs the same pot ref. u can find on electronics store, but probably dont find them easy, better send to repair. time spend to find them is long.

Behringer does NOT supply diagrams except to their authorized repair facilities... I know as I have tried and I wind up repairing without diagrams/schematics most of the time. In some cases I have traced out the circuitry.

FORTUNATELY mixers are fairly simple circuitry.

MOST problems I have encountered were due to defective sliders and in one case liquid had caused circuit traces to short and the burned area had to be carved out and jumpers placed where the traces were missing.

the circuitry repeats several times so one can look at adjacent channels to compare damage.
