Please help guys Canon IR2520 giving me a beep and error 853 on the panel when trying to print. just added 2 new computers and it does the same on each. plz help

Is there something left left that's supposed to be done after adding a new client (pc). Communication is there, but the printer just warms up and makes a beep then nothing comes out. when i check the jobs log on the printer panel, i see "Result NG853"

There are only two things that could cause this. Only one applies to you. That one is the printer driver, Make sure that you have the right one installed.

Follow these steps in order to resolve the issue:
Stop the Print Spooler Service: 1) Click Start. 2) Type ‘cmd’ in the Start Search box.Search results should appear. 3) Right-click on ‘cmd’ in the search results, and select Run as Administrator.The command window will appear.4) Type ‘net stop spooler’ into the command window and press <ENTER>.The Print Spooler service should now be stopped.
Delete the Printer Drivers: .
1) Click Start.
2) In the Start Search box, type ‘C:WindowsSystem32SpoolDriversw32x86’ and press <ENTER>.
3) Delete all the files and folders in this directory.
NOTE: If the folder will not delete, rename folder to w32x86.old.
Remove the Dell printer software:
1) Click Start.
2) Click Control Panel.
3) Click Programs.
4) Click Programs and Features.
5) Click the software related to the attached Dell printer to highlight it.
6) Click Uninstall/Change.
7) Follow through the prompts in order to remove the software.
8) Restart the computer.
At this point, the user should install the latest printer software from http://support.dell.com and be able to print successfully.

Once you have it installed and working on the USB port go to the properties page of the printer.
1) Select the "Ports" tab.
2) Select "Add Port".
3) Select "Canon BJNP Port".
4) Select "New Port".
5) Fill in the IP Address of your printer and select "Next".

Make sure that the Port is checked back in the properties page and select "Apply" and your done. Do a test print and your printer should work on your network. You may still need to fix the settings on your firewall or router to allow access if it does not print.

SOURCE: Communication Error DELL 926 AIO Printer

Found on another forum. For 926 this worked great.
1. Go to Control Panel - Printers : Delete 926 printer
2. Go to Control Panel - Programs and Features : Uninstall All Dell 926 related software. There should be 3 programs. (When prompted to restart, respond to wait.
3. Rename Folder C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\SPOOL\DRIVERS\W32x86 to W32X86OLD
4. Now restart your computer
5. Reinstall 926 Software.
This worked terrific for me.

SOURCE: hp 1350v all-in-one printer won't print

if you have a print job stuck go in and hit cancel job. If it stays even after a few min right click "my computer" on your desktop and hit "manage" go to "services and applications" click "services" find the print spooler option and right click it and stop the service. Once stoped right click it again and start it. This should clear anything stuck in print queue trying to delete

You may try cleaning also the encoder strip with a moist tissue paper. Furthermore, you may also try cleaning CAREFULLY the contact points of the cartridge holder and the cartridge itself (those shiny bronze pins) with a moist lint-free cloth.

I have a samsung scx 4623fw, im trying to scan something on to my pc, i put the paper where it is supposed to go, make sure my computer is connected to my pc, which it is. and i go press the scan button...


The communication between the computer and the printer have disconnected. Do a reset of the printer. Rest the parameters, like the IP Address, Pass Codes, etc.
Check you DEVICES (Printers) to see if it is sending a Wi-Fi signal?

When i try to open my mail box it shows application not found


Do you have an e-mail client installed? If it was, then something told the operating system to disassociate e-mails from that application. If you don't have an e-mail client installed, then pick one (Outlook, Thunderbird, old Navigator, and many others) and install it. But make sure the operating system associates your e-mail files with your new client. In Windows, the icon should change to something like an envelope. MacOS has something similar.

In Windows, you have two options to reestablish the link between e-mail files and the client.
#1. place your mouse over the e-mail file, then press the right mouse button (or which ever is NOT the normal selection button). Look for a drop down menu option that says "Open with ..." which should show you a list of installed applications. Your e-mail client should be in that list. If not, then click the "Browse" button (lower left section), and find your original e-mail client program.
#2. Start your e-mail client (should still be in the START-->All menu (or sub) somewhere). It will probably ask if you want it to become the default for all e-mails. If not, go to Preferences (usually under Tools, but might be under Edit), and (usually) Advanced tab/listing, and find something that says "make XXX (program name) the default...", and then save the new setting.

Cant get it to install ,everything is checked but wil scan and print but no communacation with pc


Hi, First Identify the communication cable type, connect it to the communication port for the printer and the PC. when this is done, power on the printer and the PC, bear in mind that you must have the OEM drivers for the printer with respect to your Operating System.
The System will automatically find the new hardware and it will identify the exact,and it will request for the OEM drivers, please feed it with it, and follow all other necessary instructions, and you are done.

Can't print from shared printer


Did you connect the printer directly to the laptop to install the drivers? If so, you need to change the port to the network location to //hostcomputer/printer. You should also have the same user name and password set on both machines and have the user rights assigned to the printer sharing.

To my best knowledge, you cannot. The drivers and scanning software on your unit are not designed to support network protocols. Your unit does not come with an Ethernet adapter and it is not available as an option. When Samsung fits an equipment with a network card (such as the SCX-4521FN) the drivers and software are enabled for network use. By the way, your toner will only last for 3,000 pages. Are you sure it's a good idea to share such such a small unit over a 10 PC network?
