Take the toner cartridge out of the printer. Shake it side to side. Reinstall it and print something.
See if that fixes the output.
Could also be the transfer roller.

It has a shadow on half the screen

the light tunnel has collapsed. you can get the part from an infocus service center and do it yourself or send it to one for repair. either way, try av solutions in ny. they're really good. www.avsolutionsny.com

Shadowing on lower right of screen on InFocus LP70+

the light tunnel (like a square tube of mirrors) is collapsing. it needs to be replaced, but it's a bit involved, so and infocus service center would be your best bet. if you wish to try it yourself, let me know.

Picture is distorted from center on my 65

You do have a failure in the convergence circuit of your set. If you are good at soldering you can replace the IC's yourself. They are on the large circuit board on the left side of the set looking from the back, and attached to a large aluminum heat sink. If you don't feel comfortable doing that, I reccomend removing the board and sending it to PTS corp in Indiana. They are pretty reasonable repairing boards, and a lot less than buying a new one.

hi. this will be an easy fix for you if you are a good solder. you will need to replace the convergence chip that is located on the PC board(main). this chip is damaged and it has failed due to this damage that has occurred. click below for your new convergence chip(stk).
