Beeping Our Bosch WFK 2401 will beep during the cycle of washing.  The machine will wash and then stop w/ Multiple beeps.  You have to push the start button to get it to wash again. This happens about 10 times a cycle.  You have to run to the machine and push start or it will beep again after a brief pause. I was told the timer might need to be reset.

I have not fixed my problem yet, but I found a great web site with a complete breakdown of parts for the WFK 2401.

    It is http://www.appliancepartspros.com/

They also have live tech support free. It was really quite nice.

Based upon my personal testing of my machine I think my problem may be

    1: the circuit board.

2: a inlet valve for the hot or cold water.

Error code 01 keeps flashing. The owners manual says this is a water inlet blockage or a valve problem.

    :(

I actually fixed the machine about 1 week ago. the date of this posting.

After much trial and error I figured out it was the Could water valve.

It snapped out w/o the use of a screws. The hoses came off easily enough

And I purchased a new part from a local dealer in Haltom, TX.

The name was "Appliance Part's Depot." They were the cheepest

for this part at $72.50. I followed the advise of another member and took

    Lots of pictures.

Had I called a Tech to come to my home and fix it, it would have been big $.

Now All I have to do is wait for the water valve to die.

    :)

Thanks for the post! I have the exact same problem with this washer. Was there a good way to test whether your problem was with the cold inlet valve or the hot inlet valve?
    Thanks,
    Mai

    Yes,

There is a good way to test whether it is the cold water valve.

Run the machine with out any clothes in it.  1st run it on a cold wash and then a hot wash.  Watch the amount of water moving through the machine.

Right before you get the error you should be able to hear but not see a water going into the tub.  Pop out the detergent drawer and watch the water flow into the machine.

I would not do this until you are sure that there is restricted water flow as you may end up with a really wet floor.

Hi, the spin cycle on our bosch wfk 2401 suddenly stopped working. The wash and rinse cycle works but when it's time for the spin cycle to begin, the machine hums as though the motor is straining...

If there is motor humming while the spin cycle is ON , please confirm if the motor also heats up-- take caution not to touch live points. Also if you manually push the motor with care so see if the spin starts up then the capacitor (this assists with the starting) can be weak or faulty.
Remove and check with a mains tests and see if the charge retains, if not change. Other wise check if there is friction on the motor or drive.

What is the life expectancy of Bosch front loader (under counter)? Making loud noises during wash - not spin - cycles. Worth repairing?

not long. have a Bosch Axiss WFL 2060. It started making buzzing noises starting about a year ago and I ignored them. It failed and I am replacing either the motor or/and more things. If ur a DIY its definitely less expensive than a new machine. dwkendall sends

Very annoying beep when finished programme

When the machine is on, but not running, press and hold the "pre-wash" button. After a few seconds it will begin that beep noise, keep holding it in until the beep volume goes down and finally stops completely (5-10 secs). Once the beep has stopped, release the button and voila, no more annoying beeps at the end of your cycle.

To restore the end of cycle notification (beep) do the same thing as described above, but release the button earlier while the beep is still going.
