Whenever I open yahoo, the home page opens but if i try moving to the next page it brings a message certificate error"navigation blocked".The same problem happens in facebook but all other websites are okay.There was another computer using the same internet cable but it was okay.

there is a possibility that your firewall or anti virus is blocking it. also check your system for any spywares or viruses. Operating System ?

You should be able to either navigate the site anyway, or permanently disable the warning.

If you would like to permanently disable the warning:

Click Tools and select Internet Options
Click the Advanced tab
Scroll down and ncheck "Warn about certificate address mismatch"

There is an easy way to fix it.
Make sure your date, time and year is correct on your PC, problem solved..... good luck :-)

Try checking the date and time of your computer. If is correct, click I UNDERSTAND THE RISKS and add the security certificate.

Some homepages have too many images and takes more time to download. So some people make the home page blank. So this is not a problem or error. It is people's choice

To get back to your yahoo page as home page
Do the following:
Open Internet Explorer , (Or directly from Yahoo screen)
click on the following
From Menu click on Tools
Options
General ( If you are using Firefox, it is MAIN)
You will see three options to choose your home page
Use Blank Use Current Use default
Choose Current OR Default
Press OK
Next time you start the IE the screen will be different.
