You normally connect to this particular router http interface using your browser, provided the router still giving you an IP and it is functional, open your Command Prompt and issue the command ipconfig /all, there you can see the IP of the computer and the router will show as Default Gateway, once you know it's IP, open an Internet browser and put the router's IP in the URL as http://<router's IP>, by default the user name and password is admin/admin, unless you have changed the password. You can also reset the router to factory using the Reset button, hold it for 30 seconds to do this. You can also get more information at the Linksys Support site for this device.

SOURCE: Will a set up disk for a WRT54GS v.6 Linksys wireless router work to set up a v.1 router?
there are no drivers for routers, only firmware updates, you can get into the routers settings by typing 192.168.1.1 in your web browser and setting it up manually and download newer firmware if needed.

hi,
it should be an ip conflict.I believe you are using both routers at same time which can give same ip address (as both routers ip range is same).hence by disconnecting one router(from network/power) will make your ip conflict resolved.
secondly there is no need of linksys installation cd as it will do more harm than good.routers dont need any software to run where as network adapters need drivers.if you have any further doubts ,you can directly post it.
thank you

you can setup the router manually without the CD.
1> plug a network cable into the router, and your computer
2> type the following into your web browser http://192.168.1.1
3> enter your settings for your ISP
4> choose your wireless settings (it is recomended to setup some security on your network so people can't have access to your network without authorization)
SOURCE: need to install the driver
Go here and download the drivers or setup instructions.
