I would like to find a stainless steel panel to fit my Kenmore 3631532 model dishwasher. This dishwasher originally came in bisque, white, and black - not stainless. I have visited the Sears parts website, and found those three colors (and escutcheon control panels in those colors, too - I'll probably get a black control panel if I can find stainless front panels). Since Sears/Kenmore doesn't have stainless panels available directly - does anyone know if there is another manufacturer of stainless panels that would fit this model dishwasher? I don't want to get a whole new dishwasher just to change the look - it works fine.
I have two options for you to consider. One is to take your panel to any sheet metal fabricating shop and have them make a stainless steel version for you. The other is to get a spray can of stainless steel appliance paint and apply it. i have used the stainless steel paint on entire appliances with excellent results.
We had the same problem. Go to Ebay and search for 'stainless steel dishwasher panel'. I can't remember who sells them, but we got both the top and bottom panel for under $30, including shipping. They are great quality and made the old dishwasher look like a new, high end model. They sell sizes for many different dishwashers, so measure yours and order the by size, not model.
