Hello,
This problem is usually caused by a failure in the power supply board which in turn is caused by a failure of the filter capacitors. We have a repair guide article posted on our web site at:
http://www.ccl-la.com/blog/index.php/lg-l226wtq-bf-monitor-repair/ Check out the article and then open your monitor up and look for the failed capacitors, replace them if found and you should be back going again.
