G85 desk office jet

Printer stops printing in middle of print jog. Says "error printing on HP Office Jet G85" and "the printer couldn't print intuit"

According to Intuit it may due to inappropriate printer driver settings, for resolve this issue follow these tutorial steps Problem Printing Transactions to HP Printer and if not have enough technical knowledge or need any guidance during this process follow Intuit Support Number .

SOURCE: tvalue 4 for windows will not print with a new printer

This is a work around as I have the same problem. If I change the default printer to something other then the HP printer, then select Page Setup, I can then select the HP without the program erroring out. You can even set the HP back to default and TValue will continue to work fine until you restart the computer.

My office jet G85 won't print. No error messages appear,it has a new color cartridge,it copies, but won't print from my computer.

If it copies ok, then the issue is either the way it is cabled to computer or the print driver software settings on pc.... How is it connected via USB? Check port and correct driver is in windows/control panel/printers. Reinstall.

My G85 functions for almost 10 years without much of a problem. Now, when printing, the printer head now and then damages the upper side of the paper. Sometimes it gets stuck. Who knows a solution?

The problem is most likely just wear. You most likely need a new print head and/or carrier. Unfortunately, HP generally will only sell you a over priced refurbished printer not the parts nor will they repair it. Generally it's cheaper to check the close outs at the office and electronics stores than to fix the old one.

My office jet G85 has the message "remove and check color

Check and make sure you drivers are up to date. You may need to un-install the printer software and remove the printer in the control panel. Then reboot the computer,install the software(check and see if there is updated software if so download it).Then install the software and usually gives you instructions on when to connect the printer and drivers should be installed by software. Also make sure that when you use the print screen that you have the default printer selected and that the office jet is the default printer. It may be set to print to Microsoft one note for example.

Paper Jam - HP G85 Ink Jet Printer

You open the door from the back of the printer (turn the knobs) and the paper can be removed from the back. After removing paper jam, replace the door. It is a long door as wide and the printer, but about 2 1/2" wide.

Hi,

Since you're on a Mac you have access to a great tool called CUPS. If you point your browser to http://localhost:631/printers you will notice a list of active printers. If there isn't a printer listed you must reinstall your Office Jet (all the software can be found here), but if the Office Jet is listed there are many tools that will help you fix your printer. If you are prompted for a user name and password within CUPS just enter the User and Pass that you use to login to your Mac.

How do i print edge to edge using the G85 Office Jet all in one?

The G85 does not support edge to edge printing, it requires a top margin of 0.08:, a bottom margin of 0.46" and side margins of 0.25".
